This is an excellent hotel, has a very welcoming homely atmosphere. Jenny and Syd are excellent hosts, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The facilities, rooms and above all the food is very good. There is a frequent bus service to and from Torquay, Babbacombe and Dawlish.I thoroughly recommend this superb hotel!!!

We even had 5 courses on offer on most days. There were presents from Santa and good entertainers every night, (bar prices not to...

Very friendly hotel. Rooms a good size. Food excellent. Owners Sid and Jenny could not do enough for us, a very friendly and obliging couple. We had a ground floor room with a walk in showet. Room was very quiet and well decorated. Two pools. Gym aand spa.

Going to the Coppice is like visiting family, Jenny and Syd are great hosts, The accommodation. food and staff are all first rate, We can't wait to return for the fourth time in July. The hard work that Jenny and Syd put into running the Coppice makes for a great holiday for guests.

Was definitely lived up to its 4* AA rating. Food excellent served in pleasant surroundings by efficient waiters/waitresses, Rooms to a high standard but lacking seating. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi was a good size with towels provided. Bar prices reasonable and entertainment good kept most guests amused all evening. Most rooms are on the ground level.

I booked this hotel going on reviews from other guests, however I would not recommend this hotel unless you have gone by coach party, or over a certain age. When we arrived a man answered the door there was no greeting just a nod of his head which I assumed meant welcome. We were taken to a desk and given...
