We were a bit dubious as we hadn't spent very much on our stay at the hotel. However we were very impressed when we arrived. The reception area is lovely and there was live entertainment every night. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The room was fairly modern and well equipped. For the price we paid we don't have a...

Our room was in what can only be described as the semi derelict part of the Hotel. Carpets stuck down with parcel tape , unpainted doors , a smell of damp and this was only the corridor. The room had small amounts of paint on the window sills , rusty radiator , peculiar small holes in the ceiling , a...

Awful. Now I know why the Hotel name wasn't divulged when we ordered and paid for a week away. The photo's already here say it all. We saw exactly the same and I believe our room peddle bin is shown, as is the duck taped electric socket. A BIG NO NO there when used by the public. Being told that...

Just come home from a relaxing weekend break, nice hotel but rooms could do with a makeover, food was good and entertainment fair but well worth the money, good bus service into Torquay and nice walks to nearby beach. Nice cafe on the beach serving cream teas.

The hotel is in a lovely quiet area of Babbacombe close to amenities and transportation to Torquay Harbour. The hotel its self leaves a lot to be desired. The room was cold on arrival with no heating on and windows left open. The restaurant was not organised with not enough tables being set up for the amount of guests that...

The experience we had was not good. The room was dirty the carpet stained but in truth the Hotel is at the moment going through a refurbishment. We will leave it a while before we go again to National Holidays. What I did not like was to see the staff drinking at the Bar (without paying) on an evening. I consider...
