This was our third visit to the trecarn hotel and it has gone down hill room carpet covered in dust ,mould on walls. Staff need customer service training none pleasant. Breakfast was ok but evening meal was just passable dining room music too loud. Bar closes at 11o clock.

One night was enough is this sub zero establishment. As we made our way to reception we was greeted by the man behind the counter. My girlfriend said "we have made a reservation" he replied with "well Iv got loads of those". Thought he was the cock of the roost. So we got our key and made our way to...

Attention to detail would improve this hotel :- Minuses:- No hook on back of bathroom door and tiles needed a scrub. Mattress a bit hard but might be OK for others, Unable to regulate radiators so the room was a bit hot but likewise might be Ok for others that prefer a bit more heat. Pluses:- Food plentiful and OK,...

Me husband and I have just returned from a weekend stay at the hotel. After reading the reviews I was a little worried about what we would find. Our room was nice and seemed pretty clean apart from dust on top of the wardrobes and on the ceiling. The bathroom was clean, bed was clean, sides and carpets clean. The...

My friend and I stayed in a single room each on the 20th Jan for 3 nights . Yes the hotel was rather dated but the rooms were clean and the food was excellent. We went on a National Holidays Trip which was excellent value for money and two trips included. If people require 5 star hotels for £ 89...

Well for £28 for a double room what do you expect. A bed, TV, bathroom, quiet nights sleep. All you needed.. It wasn't the ritz, but did the job, a walk to the beach, bar if needed, just a cheap B&B in my eyes...

Not far from the beach, more a cliff top hotel - it was about 15 minutes walk to the beach. Meals were ok and staff friendly. It was clean and tidy. Not far from a few of the pubs that we wanted to visit. Is a bit dated but met our needs for the time we stayed.

I am not one for complaining and I do always read reviews on here before booking a room to stay. I thought I'd give this place the benefit of the doubt but oh how wrong could I have been. We first arrived and on the first opinion it looked as if the place had been refurbished. We checked in and...
