Stayed here in early August for 2 nights as part of a walking holiday. It's very well located just down the road from the Abbey and only 15 minute walk to town and 5 minutes to train station. I had a clean, well furnished and recently decorated room with albeit a very 'compact' shower/wc and a 'disguised' basin but of...

First impressions are so important. Our first impression of The Brandize was exactly what we wanted. A nice, charming B&B to stay in. We first met Sarah, who gave us our key and showed us to our room. She was a lovely lady, very kind. We met Rick the next morning at breakfast. Introduced himself and knew us by name....

We had a deluxe room which was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and spacious. Extra touches in the room made all the difference such as good quality toiletries and lovely biscuits. The breakfasts were...

Rick and Sarah were so very welcoming, and this set the tone for the whole of our two week stay. The cooked breakfasts were of a very high standard, with a good choice. The beds were comfortable, and the linen immaculate. Free wifi was a bonus. We managed without a car, as bus stops were within easy walking distance. We...
