I want to first of say that this hotel has the most friendly and helpful staff you'll ever come across . Me and my partner felt very welcomed. The hotel is a well kept , clean and decent size. You have a brassiere room with bar, dining area and two lounge areas which are nice to hang out in. Our bedroom was a decent size and clean to a good standard. There are no ironing and hair dryer facilities in the bedrooms. The Spa facility is lovely. Can't fault it really. You get a two hour slot which is plenty of time to recharge and relax. The breakfast is really good. Lots of choice from hot and cold breakfast . The cold selection is buffet style and you can help yourself. The hot selection of breakfast is also very decent. You can fill yourself up quite easily. You can have as many stacks of toast you like...it's great! The restaurant lunch and dinner food is decent with good size portions and taste. The hotel is on a steep hill , so just be mindful if you have problems with legs or breathing, it can be quite intense if walking to get back to the hotel from being out for the day for a walk. Good way to keep fit I guess. Overall, I would visit again as I was made to feel very welcomed. It was great! Also a lovely receptionist called Dawn! She was super friendly and helpful. One tip- if you're going during staycation period book restaurants in advance. Local Restaurants like Amici and Prezzo had no bookings to eat for days. Have a look and get booking to avoid disappointment

This Hotel has undergone refurbishment in a lot of areas since we stayed last year, the rooms are smart, well furnished and decorated. Walkways have been tastefully redecorated, the restaurant is the next area apparently for redecoration but never the less is comfortable and a nice place to enjoy dinner with tables also in the conservatory. The staff here are excellent all the way up to the Manager, polite efficient and very willing to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Great outdoor seating area and pool and jacuzi . Drink and meal service here too. We stayed here twice recently on our way to Cornwall and back and con thoroughly recommend this hotel. Dinner and breakfast was great as was the service. Plenty of parking too with an overflow area for busy times.

Spa excellent Staff excellent These are the only good points. Very expensive rooms very basic you get more at a travelodge for under a quarter of the price. Room no wow factor after pay £450 per night No fridge mini bar No safe Lighting very poor want to charge for parking Only allowed 2 hours in the spa. Seriously think before booking this hotel

This hotel is outstanding. The staff are incredible. Welcoming, engaging, fun and incredibly helpful. They don’t work from a script like the 5 star chains - they actually care about you and what you want and need. After 30’years of extensive business travel the best I’ve ever come across The facilities are great as is the food. Book the spa package, you won’t regret it. It’s a great location with a beautiful outside area too. Will categorically return.

We stayed here and had the worst breakfast ever two days in succession. The room is tired and needs some maintenance. It is overpriced for what you get. However the staff were friendly and helpful and it is a good location.

Response from Brett Powis, Owner at Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa - Just for Adults
Responded yesterday
I am sorry that you felt that the hotel only warranted a 1 based on the breakfast. The previous review from a guest that loved their stay, actually states ‘fab breakfast’, all our team work hard to maintain our very high standards across every facet of the hotel, and the breakfast, which is included in your room rate, offers a selection of hot dishes including full English, a vegetarian alternative of the full English, Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale, Smoked Haddock, Kippers, Avocado and Poached Eggs and more as well as a very wide selection of cold buffet items, juices, cereals, yoghurt selection with granola and fruit, fresh fruit salad, melon, meat and cheese selection, toast, croissants, danish pastries, and we have this week added speciality coffees as part of the inclusive breakfast. ‘Worst breakfast ever’ is to my mind very difficult to understand, when all those choices are available but we are truly sorry if any of the options were as poor as you indicate, and to rate us as Terrible when the hotel has so much more to offer, such as the Spa, beautiful Lounge and Bar areas, heated outdoor pool, jacuzzi and gardens with loungers and outside bar service, seems a trifle harsh. I am pleased however you felt the staff were helpful and that we were in a good location. I hope you find a hotel more to your liking should you return to the English Riviera.
