This hotel is well positioned with regards to the beach, central town area ,with just a slight walk up a hill. Although we accept most hotels in Torquay are old, this one desperately needs money spent on it. The wall paper /walls were marked and stained, advocado suite in bathroom, carpets threadbare, crockery stained with age, showers that sprayed water...

The ensuite was...

We only used the hotel as a base. Does have a pool but unfortunately no longer in use. My only real bug bear is the loo brush, it...

we had the room furthest away from reception. It was quiet and clean although basic. We only stayed 1 night and it was fine for what we needed. The bed was comfortable although the bath and shower could do with a make over. The staff were great. The breakfast was good. The pool is definitely out of action. The Gardens looked lovely...
