Hotel lovely, room a shade small but comfortable. Hotel up a hill, and buses only every hour, right outside the hotel. I flagged a bus down and he kindly stopped for me. We walked up a few times [providing you are not carrying any weight, bags etc. However there is a bench seat just over halfway up which we used....

Our room was a cosy room, nice room but the floors creek a lot. Tea and coffee in the room ideal for 2 nights. There is a small car park but can get full very quick and alternative parking is out on the street but again that is limited. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Excellent and well run hotel with easy access to the whole area whilst being in a quiet spot close to the beach. The gardens have a sub-tropical feel and have ample space to relax before the fabulous dinner served each evening.

Hotel Balmoral exceeded our expectations in every respect. Located above Meadfoot Beach in the premier part of Torquay, very tranquil & picturesque... Exceptionally well run by a very friendly, efficient & helpful team! The landscaped gardens are exquisite, a perfect sun~trap with views over Meadfoot Cove which is just a 3 minute walk away similarly a 15 minute walk over...
