Last week I took the kids (11 & 18) on a PGL holiday to Barton Hall, in Devon. It was fantastic, we had SUCH a great time, I felt like I was on a school trip with the 2 of them, brilliant opportunity for the 3 of us to really spend some quality time together. (Hubby couldn't have any more...

We have just returned from a fantastic family holiday at Barton Hall. We were not sure what to expect but it was an amazing week. We have 3 children, 12,9 and 6 and they all had a great time. Would never have believed my daughter of 6 would manage most the activities. Many thanks to all the staff who made...

We booked a week here for our two boys who insisted that Dad and Mum came along too. Lots of climbing, water activities plus many others which were all great fun and teamed up with some other families with all getting along really well. The rooms are basic but we had two with the boys having their own bathroom and...

Second year with PGL in Barton Hall. If you and your children like a week of activities climbing walls, running down them, canoeing on water and falling in then you can't ask for anything more. Great value for money with 3 hot meals a day included, a shop and bar prices that don't rip you off and lots of like...

Ok I admit I am a bit of a snob when it comes to booking holidays and places to stay. We found ourselves in mid July having to look for last minute holidays in England due to me having been unwell and still having tests and undiagnosed and no one would insure me for our already booked holiday to America....

An excellent holiday at PLG Barton Hall. Single dad and 9 year old son. What was good: Likeminded people who want to develop and challenge children. People willing to get stuck into activities. The PGL staff from catering, activity guides, life guards all excellent Some tips The rooms are very basic and not modern. If you consider they deal with...

This holiday was excellent. The PGL instructors were enthusiastic, kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was superb, especially Andi! The accommodation was basic but clean, the activities were excellent and fun (but tiring!) and the food was plentiful. Great value, great holiday, we'll be booking again soon.

I took my two 12 yr old boys, and we had a great time. lovely location, do try and get out especially to Babbacombe (beautiful sunsets). The accommodation at Barton Hall basic, but comfortable, very clean, plenty of space to put all your stuff, tea and coffee making facilities a bonus. The Pgl staff great, and activities all enjoyable,if not pretty challenging!...

We took our 7yr old to Barton Hall at the start of August. We chose this kind of holiday as it offers so many different activities and opportunities to try new things, which suits our son down to the ground to do an activity for an hour or so and then move on to something else. We did 21 activities...

I visited Barton Hall PGL with my Hubby & 3 children (ages 10, 15 &17). We didn't know what to expect other than our through our children's accounts of previous visits to other PGL centres. We were expecting one level up from camping but we were pleasantly suprised.... What a wonderful holiday!! We were given a warm and friendly welcome...
