We have just returned from a weekend stay at Lanscombe House which was wonderful and so relaxing. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of walks. The walk to Torquay is only 10 minutes. As soon as we arrived Leon made us a pot of tea and cake and made us really welcome in the lovely garden. The breakfasts were exceptional, mostly local products....

Fabulous bed and breakfast in a beautiful house in the pretty village of Cockington. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and the bathroom had a walk in shower. Leon and Paula have thought of everything to ensure you enjoy your stay. Breakfasts were delicious, cooked to order using local produce. A short walk through Cockington Country Park...

Just back from a ten day stay at Lanscombe House and it was excellent. Couldn't have asked for more, Leon & Paula were extremely helpful. We stayed in room 7 which was a good size, very comfortable, doesn't have a fantastic view, but then with all the lovely places in the area to visit, you can have lovely views from...

What can I say about Lanscombe House, from the minute you walk through the door to the second you leave, your every need is attended to. The rooms and facilities are without a doubt the best I've seen for such a reasonable price. If we every pass the area again we now have this place in our address book

We met with the host Leon on arrival, what a nice welcome we received and from then were shown the hotel and our room. The hotel is perfect,...

My wife and I chose this hotel to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary as we spent our honeymoon in this area in 1964. It turned out to be a brilliant choice. The location, the comfort and ambience could not have been better and Paula and Leon could not have been more welcoming. We just loved it!
