This was our first visit to The Meadfoot Bay hotel but it wont be our last. The rooms are modern and well appointed and the shower was brilliant. The breakfast served at the Meadfoot is first rate with as much choice as you could wish for and all served with a smile by the owner Chris (family run hotel). The...

This was our third visit to the Meadfoot, and again we experienced a warm welcome on arrival from Gary, the superb and friendly service from Chris, and the scrumptious breakfasts. Our room as ever, spotlessly clean and the most divine fragrance, it makes you relax...all is well. There was an unexpected addition of a mini fridge which was stocked with...

My wife and I stayed here recently on our first visit to Torquay. Our room was comfortable, modern and spotlessly clean. The family was delightful and helpful. Our breakfast was delicious and we were impressed by the choices on offer. We will definitely make a return visit and have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

What a great place to stay. I can't praise the place enough. Chris's customer service was exceptional to say the least. From the minute we arrived to the point of checkout Chris did his very best to make our stay as relaxed and enjoyable as was possible. Rooms were very clean, tidy and well equipped. The fridge in the room...

From the original booking to checking out our every wish was catered for in the best manner possible. Chris and his family go way beyond to look after their clients. The breakfast is outstanding! the rooms are chic and comfortable and...

I travelled here in April with my boyfriend for a few nights away from reality. After trawling through many pages on TripAdvisor we came across The Meadfoot Bay and we're glad we did. On arrival we were greeted by Chris who was very friendly and even offered us tea and coffee straight away. We had only booked a classic double...

We spent a very happy weekend here. The hotel is well located between Torquay and Meadfoot beach...walking distance to both. The hosts are friendly and professional. The hotel has been very well maintained. We had a room with a terrace which proved very useful as the sun shone throughout. We will happily return.

What an excellent small hotel in Torquay. We were greeted by complimentary tea and coffee on arrival after a long trip which was a nice touch. We booked three rooms varying from a single to their best of house room, all of which were very good. Nothing was too much bother and we ate out at two of their recommended...

My partner and myself decided to visit Torquay , for a few days away , whilst the weather has been beautiful. We found this hotel listed #2 on trip advisor for hotels in Torquay ,so after some reading of previous reviews and the website itself booked the premium room . If the fantastic reviews weren't enough to go by, as...

Gary was an excellent host and testament to the family run nature of the hotel. Room was excellent, breakfast was even better! If you are visiting Torquay you must stay here. Excellent location and value for money. Thank you for a pleasant nights sleep.
