I had previously reviewed this hotel but my review has mysteriously disappeared? The establishment cannot be classified as a hotel..appears to be a haven for council placements and was a major disapointment. Bathroom shower groutng was black with mildew...there was no where to sit .,..we checked out after one night of four booked

We booked this hotel, on a room only basis, after a last minute decision to get away for a long weekend and were very pleased with it. The room was lovely, very comfortable and clean - and it had the best shower I've ever used in a hotel room! We would certainly stay again.

We decided to go to Torquay for a few days in August at short notice. The hotel had a nice room available for us. We were with our 14 month old son. We had a travel cot with us but they were available at the hotel. Breakfasts were available, but we didn't try them this time. The hotel is within... More

I have just returned home after visiting Torquay and staying at the hotel with my family. There were 3 adults and two children. The owner supplied a high chair and also a travel cot, both were clean and a godsend as we didn't have to bring our own. We stayed for 3 nights and it was just lovely to have... More

Could not... More

Very good service and breakfast (fruit salad quite memorable) and situated near a street of shops with The Kents gastopub. On a frequent bus route into Torquay. Near Ansteys Cove which has a café. We've visited three times and had a pleasant stay each time.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Ansteys Cove Hotel. We had 2 adjoining rooms (14&15), 1 double en-suite & 1 twin en-suite for our 11 & 16 year old. There was a door on the landing outside the rooms that could be closed to make us more self contained. Location good, parking space in hotel car... More
