Amazing deal with Travel Zoo for lunch and two beauty treatments for a good price. Meal was lovely with a view of the sea. Good service, even though we were on a 'special deal' there was no being treated as different from a full paying resident, with great attention in both the restaurant and the Beauty Room in the Leisure...

Very nice view, that's it. It is a worn down, old hotel. Floors and furnitures are also not very clean. We were disappointed. We should have come here 50 years ago to enjoy its glorious days. The bar has also very limited drinks (one single malt brand of whisky)

Thank you for taking the time to post a review on Trip Advisor following your visit to Imperial Hotel. I was certainly disappointed to learn of your dissatisfaction during your visit with us as this is by no means the level of service we wish to deliver here at the Imperial. Regards, Gwyn

Firstly the good things about this hotel - the bed was v comfortable - bed linen was nice and white, towels changed daily, clean room, hot and powerful shower, efficient lift - what more could you want. Well a decent night's sleep. We had used our Diamond Resorts time share points and they had booked the hotel for five nights....

Myself and my sister visited the spa and restaurant today for a spa day, on arrival we couldn't see the door clearly to enter the facility. When we entered we were given a very brief chat about towels and where the changing room was located offered to make ourselves tea while filling our forms. The changing rooms, and out doir...

We stayed in room 410, a Deluxe room with balcony and sea view. We were able to have this as a twin room. The room was huge! It was very clean. The only drawback was that the water pressure in the shower was extremely low. I had to use the hand held shower (only slightly stronger pressure) to wash my...

First time we have tried this hotel, booked for 1 night stay. No welcome at reception - man on desk was polite enough but moody and unhelpful. Ground floor public areas were impressive and clean, but corridors and stairs to room on first floor were badly in need of a good clean. Room was very poor - no bath, toilet...

The service is much better than our stay here last year. The hotel is improving and, although our room was a beautiful huge suite overlooking the sea- there were a couple of scruffy areas of maintenance required, but that aside we had a fantastic stay- the staff were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful

Helpful Staff, Ample onsite parking. We had a Deluxe King Room with Sea View and were very happy with the size and quality of the room. Lovely bathroom and a balcony overlooking the large gardens, the Bay and beyond :) Room service breakfast was spot on. This is a large hotel, lots of facillities.....feels like a 'proper' hotel. Highly recommended...

I was led to believe that this was the best hotel in Torquay, luxurious, where the celebs stayed, not to be missed, etc! In fact, parts of the hotel, including our rooms, were run-down and tired looking, although mine was very large which was great. The balcony in my room was inaccessible due to "maintenance works". The bed was lumpy...

Beautiful part of Devon to see and celebrate any occasion. Hotel very nice and clean with indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Beatiful views from terrace and hotel cafe bar. Hotel located close to shops and restaurants, small walk to town centre. Would recommend.
