I travelled by coach with my husband and sister to stay at the De La Mer . It is a lovely family run hotel with comfortable rooms, great food, (I am vegetarian but was catered for without any problem), lovely friendly service and good evening entertainment. We had an awfully chilly wet week but still enjoyed our stay, and would...

Coach trip to a wonderful hotel. Friendly welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Lots of food. Lots of banter. Room was lovely albeit our neighbours were noisy and inconsiderate first thing in the morning - not the owners' fault. Great banter with Jade - thank you for your lovely sense of humour. Very grateful for making room for my sister and...

The owners and staff were so happy and friendly, nothing too much trouble and have never been to a hotel before where second helpings of food were offered at each course including breakfast. The food too was of very high quality. Rooms very clean...

Spent Christmas 2016 at 'De La Mer', along with the rest of our coach party, and I can easily summarise our stay as "super staff, fabulous food, exemplary entertainment, delightful decorations but pity about the small room". Luke and his family make guests feel most welcome and will do all within their power to make your stay enjoyable but, even...

Entertainment was acceptable. I must say other guests said their rooms were OK and they were satisfied with them. Overall I would recommend this hotel but ask to look at room...
