We stayed in one of the new suites at the Carey Arms last night and it was just perfect in every way. We were met by Yuri when we arrived, a lovely chap who made us most welcome and could not do enough for us. We have a couple of minor things that needed sorting and Yuri was brilliant. Evening... The Cary Arms is set into the cliffs of Babbacombe Bay giving a most beautiful view, especially if you are staying in one of the very comfortable beach huts. The young staff could not have more friendly and helpful, creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed excellent breakfasts and dinners for all three days we stayed. No to mention how... More

Booked a last minute stay through Secret Escapes having had to cancel a trip to Gibraltar, where we intended to marry in secret, due to a family accident. Package was for bed breakfast and dinner and included a spa voucher. When we checked in we queried spa voucher but were told there was nobody in the spa on that day... More

Had a midweek stay in one of the beautiful beach huts and would highly recommend it. The welcome we received was brilliant and the accommodation is absolutely beautiful. We had a three course meal and all of it was fantastic as well as the service. Couldn't recommend it more!

Stayed during my birthday week along with my 2 dogs. Would love to return during the summer despite the weather being good. Very dog friendly, views were amazing and the staff were impressive and very friendly, particularly the young woman (who's name escapes me) from reception who appeared to be able to turn her hand to every aspect of this... Spent 3 relaxing days here, the mood was very "recharge yourself and unwind"........ just what we needed! Set down a very steep hill and tucked away with glorious views of the sea, we couldn't have asked for a better location. The Inn has been lovingly designed with some very nice touches for their guests...... in particular the sloe gin decanter... More

Beautiful hotel; traditional yet with new beach-hut style accommodation. We stayed in the main hotel (older section). Captain Suite - huge! amazing views over the beach. Free parking in the shared car park - very good system. The hotel is one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Wonderful residents lounge. Restaurant - with an obviously very talented chef... More

We have just returned from a Doggy Getaway weekend at the Cary Arms. It was amazing! We had a very lovely suit eover looking the sea and felt spoilt rotten with all the complimentary bits and pieces and sheer luxury of the suite. Despite all this, our dog was welcomed everywhere except the conservatory, and it was great to be... More

Spent a lovely long weekend at the Cary Arms. We stayed in Pebble Suite which was perfect for us ... a lovely big bedroom for us and a separate one for our girls.
