The staff were welcoming and friendly to us and our dog. The setting is lovely with views of the golf course. The golf and leisure facilities were very good - golf was good value, and the pool area was lovely. However, the hotel needs significant refurbishment. I can see from other reviews that they were in newly refurbished rooms. Ours...

I stayed in the lowest price room to attend a wedding function at the Elfordleigh hotel and was impressed for what I paid for. The shower was the best I have come across in a hotel and was very powerful! I liked that the hotel provided a shower creme/shampoo facility so that I didn't need to use my own toiletries....

Dear Ayesha, I am pleased to read that you enjoyed all aspects of your stay with us. We always give the best available room to our guests no matter what rate they pay, if guests wish to stay in one of our premier rooms than I would strongly advise them to book it during the Summer Season. Our premier rooms...

Arrived Friday early evening, sent the wrong way round the rather tired looking hotel as the miserable receptionist had only been in post for a week, genuine mistake to make, but a smile would have been nice. Finally found our room, when we opened the door the bathroom light and extractor were on and the smell coming from the bathroom...

Dear Reviewer, I am sorry to read that some of your expectations were not met during your recent stay with us. With regards to a major overhaul it is quite obvious that this is happening as you mentioned earlier in your comments. Our team were working under considerable pressure that day as the lounge area should of been ready in...

We went to the Elfordleigh today as one of many surprises today for my son's 18th. The 3 of us had the afternoon tea for 2. It was £19.95 with a pot of tea as well. This was probably the best I have ever had. Service was brilliant, just wish I could of remembered the young lady's name because she...

We stayed here for our second wedding anniversary. We booked a package that included one night stay, three course meal, breakfast, 55mins full body massage each and full use of the gym and spa at a very reasonable price. We mainly booked her as the accept you to bring your dogs. Which they will mind whilst your eat, but we...

on arrival was given an abundance of salmon sandwiches which wasn't to everyone's taste when I asked the hotel's director who was serving us if there was any other sandwich option was told that's what we do here. He begrudgingly went and had some ham sandwiches made which were served about half an hour later. This director got all our...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your review.( I have replied the same as to your colleague.) We always take on board customer comments and learn from them. But on this occasion we feel your comments are not justifiable. On reflection we feel that your group booked the wrong kind of break, our spa breaks are meant to be calming and...

Although generally clean and tidy, this is clearly a "Tired" Hotel. A fact that has been recognised by the owners as there is a refurbishment programme in place. However, it appeared that most (if not all) of the workmen were staying at the hotel, as in the evening there was a constant stream of workmen, in their dirty clothes, coming...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your review although I must comment that I find your comment about our other guests at Breakfast quite rude.
