Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great for a budget stay in Plymouth, Pizza Express round the corner and other places to eat nearby. Impromptu stop for me as was travelling to Cornwall but signal failure on train line meant lots of waiting in Plymouth. Decided to just stay the night.

Beds are comfy, hotel clean and centrally located. Staff professional, friendly and courteous. No restaurant on site but there are loads within walking distance. Great location to explore Plymouth further. Only negative is the public car park but not surprised the hotel doesn’t have their own given where it’s situated

Nice clean comfy room with a shower and toilet ……. Good sized flat screen tv and tea and coffee facilities. …..shame there isnt any reading lights next to the bed …….the bed was comfy and spare pillows if needed ……but the music banging until 3 am was soooo annoying ( not sure where it came from ) so would put me off staying again and I’ve never recalled having that problem before …..

I was welcomed by a lovely young woman called Paulina, who was an absolute massive help and went the extra mile to make sure I was welcomed. I felt right at home. I had a brilliant night sleep. And it was all thanks to Paulina and her excellent customer service. Thank you Paulina.

No shower gel in the shower, no soap in the bathroom, no floor mat to come out of the shower onto, no phone in the room to contact reception. I asked for an extra blanket to be brought to the room, had to go downstairs from the third floor again to get it. They said they forgot. When I told them there’s no soap in the bathroom she said: they must have forgotten. I was offered extra coffee sticks instead. Very noisy from the outside clubs, the windows give no noise insulation. I asked for ear buds, of course I didn’t get any. Bad attitude of reception staff

Staff here are really nice and welcoming but the gym music, specifically the bass kept me awake every night. Constant boom boom boom when you have work in the morning is not good. I feel sorry for the team as there isn't much they can do really.maybe travelodge need to form a contract with the gym to turn music down from midnight. Generally people stay in hotels to sleep.
