Came here to refit a boat in nearby Plymouth Yacht Haven. I had looked on Tripadvisor as to the quality of the hotel and had seen mixed reviews. The food is excellent, the staff all friendly but not pushy. I could not recommend this hotel more if you want a well priced hotel with good food and comfortable beds. The...

Clean, comfortable and welcoming. The room I was in was bright and very clean with lots of matching hardwood furniture and a shower that had lots of space to put shower gels etc. The breakfast room was nicely decorated, clean, with proper table cloths and good quality tableware. (I had to leave too early for breakfast, so they put out...

Nice comfortable rooms, the front rooms have a great view over Devonport Park. Comfy beds and decent shower also a good breakfast with lots of choice. Local shops, pubs and train station just a few minutes walk away. Welcoming and friendly owners, highly recommend.

I stayed at this hotel for a night out in Plymouth that was not too expensive but not too far away from maflower street. I found that at the Mountbatten. Lovely couple. A bit dated but clean and comfortable. Free on street parking. Nice breakfast. Warm welcome.

We stayed here for two nights and couldn't really fault the hotel. It was a touch small and old fashioned, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were all modern and the beds provided a good nights sleep. The owners were very friendly and the cooked breakfast they provided was brilliant! All in all, a nice hotel at a...

Small, friendly and very clean hotel. In a quiet location. Very good breakfast, I has a double room ensuite, very nice bathroom and very clean, comfortable bed with lots of hanging and drawer space. When I am next in Plymouth would certainly stay again.

We required two rooms for a two night stay to see our daughter s passing out parade. The Mountbatten accommodation was of good standard. The couple who run it were attentive and breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone. Thanks for the memories

“Rooms are all fine. You may need to drive around a little to get a good parking spot on the street, but that's the only minor negative to a stay here. And that's common to many hotels in residential areas, so no big deal.”

“Ask for a room overlooking the park. You can watch people rushing to where they're going while you sit back with a complimentary hot drink!”
