A good located city centre hotel. Centrally located. Quiet and clean rooms. Have double windows to keep traffic noise and sainsbury's hucus rucus (located next to it). Very good buffet breakfast with usual choices and very good fresh filtered coffee. The staff was very helpful. Drawback - parking charges 7.50£ daily (however they waived mine as I checked in very...

Stayed one night due to its close location to the Plymouth Train Station. This hotel looks very tired inside and out. The room was well over due for a makeover which would have been fine if the cleaning was up to scratch. Chair and sofa filled with crumbs, stains all over the carpet and candy wrappers on the desk. Breakfast...

A little past it's best, but my 2 night stay was pleasant enough. Car park is a tad frustrating.... located behind and below the hotel, it's tricky to find and fiddly to access, you also need a coin from reception to raise the shutter. Breakfast was ok, and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly. Room was fine and...

Firstly, I tend not to comment on decor (which was fine anyway)as in the scheme of things it is irrelevant to me. I stayed at the Copthorne for 2 nights to attend some family birthday celebrations. My cousin booked several rooms for those of us who were travelling to Plymouth. My room-417- was a connoisseur room so I had slippers...

Quiet room, pleasantly furnished, view not bad - we could see the lighthouse on the Hoe! Facilities good, toiletries very nice in bathroom. Great to have use of underground garage at a charge of £7.50 for 24 hours. Breakfast very nice, plates could have been hotter but plenty of choices offered and restaurant manager very efficient, lots of interaction between...

Just a short 5 min walk from the railway station. Pleasant clean hotel with competent check in. Upgraded to a club room with a fridge, which was well worth the extra money. Breakfast on first day was excellent, second morning, issues with the food and staff, manager has apologized. Great for walking to the Plymouth attractions, the rear entrance opens...

Breakfast is good, staff friendly. Small chargeable car park that is a little tricky to find for the first time. TV locked so that won't accept external inputs from HDMI. Old style decor that looks outdated.

We stayed at The Copthorne as part of a U3A visit to the West Country. The service was good, the rooms, beds etc were comfortable & remarkably quiet considering we were overlooking a main road, the triple glazing worked well. Yes the decor is a little tired & could do with a refurbishment, but it's not terrible. Yes we would...

Attended a charity ball with a 3 course dinner and cocktail bar, stayed the night with breakfast. Really good food and the service was excellent. Cocktail bar was set up just outside the function room with friendly bar staff. Our room was on the forth floor with great views across the city centre and out to the hoe, spacious and...

Stayed one night due to its close location to the Plymouth Train Station. A tired hotel that needs an update. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a great evening meal in the restaurant. With a update this hotel has a lot of potential.
