We were in Plymouth for one night only for a theatre visit and we were attracted to this B&B by the TA reviews. The premises were very clean and well maintained and our room was fine if a little utilitarian. The bathroom was tiny and the bed was very uncomfortable and we could feel springs through the mattress. The owners...

Dear Edgar H, Thank you for your feedback which is always welcome, and words of praise are particularly well received! We also take note of any criticisms which can help us to make improvements where appropriate. However, it would have been helpful if you had mentioned any misgivings at the time, thus enabling us to address them immediately. Everything about...

I stayed at the Barbican reach for one night and had a great stay. The owners, Rob and Sue are warm and welcoming and had excellent recommendations for where to eat nearby. Barbican reach is in a great location which is very close to the Hoe. I was in the double room on the bottom floor which was really well...

We stayed for one night while visiting relatives in Plymouth in their "cosy double" although the room was small, it was very comfortable and we had every thing we could have wanted. Parking was no problem, location was great, and breakfast was first class. Thanks Rob and Sue and hope to see you again!

Sue gave my daughter and me a very warm welcome and was exemplary in terms of recommending restaurants and local walks to take in the Hoe and Barbican areas. The weather was gorgeous so followed all her suggested walks and got great views of Plymouth Sound. My daughter had a fully en suite on the ground floor and I had...

My family and I stayed at Barbican Reach for a one night trip to Plymouth. Barbican Reach is in an excellent location, minutes away from The Hoe and Barbican as well as the city centre. Rooms were lovely and modern with comfy beds and functioning televisions. Rob and Sue were great hosts, assisting us with our many bags to our...

1 night stay wasn't enough so will return. Local B&Bs tend to be bit 'tired', but not here. Fresh, clean and contemporary. Arranged an arrival time and Rob was there to welcome me with a knowledgable summary of dining out locally. Its obvious he cares about his business and the comfort of his guests. To top it all breakfast was...

Very clean and well presented with very good room facilities and a nice breakfast menu with some alternatives to a cooked breakfast. Parking not an issue even late at night. Very friendly hosts would recommend to anyone visiting Plymouth. alternative

I booked The Barbican Reach via late rooms and was give the Attic Room as that was the only available room left. This room was at the top of the house and is the only room that has a partial en suite. The room was quite small and the private toilet was across the landing but served its purpose for...
