I booked this last minute and arrived late. I phoned ahead and got a text with a code to allow me to enter after the 9 o'clock curfew. The room was clean and there were two single beds. With the pillows in place, the bed was too short (and I am only 5'9") but the linen was fresh and I...

Landlady was very rude and I nearly left the following morning. Which is a shame because the accomodation was perfect and let down by her rudeness. This situation did get better but left an uncomfortable feeling and was the only bad mark on a brilliant holiday.

Great guest house, really looked after us (group of 8 diving for the weekend). Great value, very nice rooms and excellent cooked breakfast. Spotlessly clean and very friendly owners. Parking is free very close by on street after 4pm. Require a ticket 10-4, but you can get a that from the hotel. Very good central location with the town centre...

I went to Plymouth with my 14 yr old son. We stayed in Room 4 with the twin beds. Our stay was great - water piping hot, really comfy beds, spotlessly clean, nice room temperature and the breakfasts we had were amazing (we stayed 2 nights). We did have to share a bathroom but it caused us no problems at...

Sam and his wife made our stay so relaxing and comfortable it was like going home from home. We booked 2 rooms one family & one triple as there were 6 of us staying....

Stayed at the moorings for a weekend in early March so I could go to a family party. The room we had was at the bottom of the stairs and was sandwiched between tbe owners' lounge at the front and the guest breakfast room at the rear (if the building was still a house it would be the dining room)....

I stayed at the Moorings for a couple of nights over Bonfire Night . What a great local place with great service and immaculate set up for breakfast. The food was excellent and so is the location for the Hoe and sea front. Overall I would stay again . The room was fine with a ensuite bathroom ( A must)...

a great location close to the Hoe and not far from the Barbican via a coastal walk. We had a lovely stay and will go back again - the owners did mention that it can be best to call them directly for the best price rather than go through booking sites too.
