We and two friends stayed two nights at the Gable Lodge and we all enjoyed the our stay. When we arrived it was raining and we were greeted by Dave who kindly offered to dry our gloves (we travelled by motorcycle) and put them in a warm cupboard. Parking available at the rear of the property. The guest house is...

I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at this excellent, well located B and B in Lynton. It's set back from the road and elevated, so pleasantly quiet despite being conveniently on the main road through the village. Hosts were welcoming and breakfast excellent (home made rhubarb and ginger jam recommended). The room was comfortable, spacious and well-equipped, with a...

Booked in here last minute via skyscanner as an emergency after being let down by the Symphony Bluebird hotel in Ilfracombe. What a delight, Our hosts were warm and welcoming, the room clean and comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Although we were too late to book an evening meal the menu looked scrummy and very good value (including alcoholic drinks)...

Thank you for this. It was such a shame you were let down by somewhere else, but their loss was our gain and we are glad you found us and enjoyed your stay.

Having family living in the village means regular trips to visit and it's essential that we have somewhere reliable, clean and welcoming to stay. This last four night visit was no exception and Ann and Dave provided excellent service as always. Room is always clean and well presented and breakfast was up to its usual high standard. Nothing is too...

After a long walk in the rain from Porlock to Lynton, Dave offered to hang my wet clothes in the airing cupboard and dry my boots by the freshly lit fire in the living room. The room is basic but comfortable and has everything you need. Breakfast was good too; full English and a selection of cereals and yoghurts. Would...

Hi Nice place Lynton and lynmouth, the guest house owner was really nice and welcoming. The rooms were quite small and same for the bathroom, the TV was small and there was no biscuits with the tea and coffee. The breakfast in the morning was really good, the proprietors were both very accommodation and helpful. Only issue is the early...

Originally booked this through an internet search and I was very glad that I picked this one for the four of us (two couples). On arrival, we were made very welcome by Dave and Anne and shown to our respective double rooms which were spotlessly clean as was the en-suite. We knew we would be tired after a long drive,...
