The Georgian Lodge was very clean, very comfortable, and very near to the train stations and the center of the city. You can go everywhere on foot, or if you don't like walking, you can take a taxi, which costs almost nothing. The hotel is serving breakfast, which had many alternatives. Yet, the women working in the kitchen could not...

A parking voucher and good value made us book this hotel while visiting family in Devon. The £5 breakfast was a bonus, the compact but comfortable room was perfectly adequate and the tiny ensuite was clean. If you are above average size it may not suit you though!

The first thing I must warn anyone of that has difficulty going up stairs ,ask for a room near the bottom of the hotel ,if you are at the top it is a long way up.Other than that the rooms are okay ,the water pressure at the top of the hotel is low therefore the shower lacks power .Beds were...

Hotel is close to Cathedral & town centre and rooms are clean & comfortable with a good breakfast. The young man at reception was very helpful, issuing a map of the city and directions. However, the walls are thin - you can hear everything from the next room - and we had no hot water. As there is no resident...

We booked no12 but checked in as directed to the Georgian Lodge. Crossed the car park and attempted to open the front door to no12 with key provided but it wouldn't fit. Returned to GL only to be told that our booking was with GL! Surprised but went with the instruction all the same. Our room in GL was in...

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting Exeter University Open Day. It is in a good location just ten minutes walk from the city centre and fifteen from the University. It is set in a quiet square with a car park adjacent. We booked this based on reviews and was pleasantly surprised. The receptionist on arrival was very professional...

My son and I stayed here for 4 nights whilst he was applying for a course at Exeter College. We wanted a hotel in the centre of Exeter. This hotel worked out very well. Great location, comfortable and clean. Good free Wi-Fi. Substantial breakfast to set you up for the day. Nothing to complain about.

We stayed for one night here, and whilst it was clean and the staff were friendly there were a few issues. When you arrive you have to ring a number and wait for a member of staff to arrive at the hotel to let you in. Our room was very clean and comfortable. However the walls are very thin and...

We stayed here for one night, arrived rather late but the staff were very helpful in rebooking our reservation for a restaurant. The room was very comfy and clean. Lots of choice for breakfast. This hotel is only a few minutes walk away from the main shopping centre.

Stayed here a couple of times. It has everything you need - beds, en suite, towels, hair dryer, TV, tea and coffee in rooms. Cooked breakfast is yummy and on offer every morning. They are very accommodating with this as well. It isn't stylish or snazzy but it is is everything you need from a hotel room.
