Well, first of all the staff is very nice and helpful. Yes, the rooms and bath are outdated, but in my experience in the UK this is what you get for this much money. We had good nights sleep, the hotel is not downtown, but is walking distance to everything, the sights, shops, and all the train stations.

Avoid this place like the plague they won't payment before you get your room and the reason for this is because the rooms are sub standard and very outdated the manager is not there and they took payment from my card that evening without my consent which we did not know until the morning of check out we were told...

We visited our family for a few days and found this small hotel on internet - we choose it because of location and price. We booked two rooms and we've been given both in the attic. Both rooms were clean, tidy, basic, bed were comfortable. The only issue we had was extremely small toilet with shower. When we wanted to...

This place was a real disappointment after a long journey from Kent. The staff were pleasant and there were beds but that was it's only plus point. The facilities were basic, not even hostel quality. One of two rooms looked out into a back yard that was full of rubbishing and junk, the other looked out through dusty and dirty...

By Exeter standards, the Cedar Lodge is cheap. By national standards, it is over priced. Car parking is very difficult. The hotel has a forecourt for 3-4 vehicles but it was full of vans and trucks when I arrived at 4pm. The surrounding side streets are not good either because parking is limited to permit holders or for a short...

Good reasonable hotel. Booked a single room but they put me in a double room on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel. Basic facilities but clean and I slept well. The full English breakfast was very good. Would stay again. Staff friendly and helpful.
