The owner was a very nice lady and was very helpful. I used to wake late and she used to make me breakfast even after it was past the breakfast time. Someone used to clean my room everyday. I was given the top floor and was able to use the washroom for myself.

Overpriced is an understatement. Same price as Gorgeous B and Bs in Croyde which are closer to the beach and more hospitable not to mention far more comfortable. Dog hair on breakfast table not my idea of hygenic let alone the smell of dog that lingers throughout the place. Breakfast wasn't a pleasant experience and its situated miles from the... More

Matress uncomfortable. Landlord lady rude and complaining about all other guests. My mother stayed here after a 4hr drive from dorset she was told to pay... More

I stayed one night at Sunnymede with work. My room was fairly basic but very clean with lovely bedding -bed also comfy. I wasn't able to have a hot drink in the room though as the kettle was next to a place with no plug -only plug was next to the bed -I would have had to place the kettle... More

We ( me and 2 mates) stayed for one night recently. Convenient for the city centre, great breakfast, very reasonably priced, What more could you ask for. If I (we) go back to Exeter I would definately stay here again. One slight possible problem is parking. Whilst it wasn't a problem for us, it's street parking opposite, and although you... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sunnymede in August as we were spending the week-end in Conrnwall and wanted to break the trip up. I was told to ring Sunnymede by another B & B as we did have trouble finding somewhere. We arrived at about 9pm and was greeted by Theresa who is lovely. When shown to our room... More

I looked up the Sunnymede on Trip advisor and chose because of the good reports. The room and public areas were comfortable and perfectly spotless. The room was intended for two people with night stands and reading lamps on both sides of the double bed. It would have been slightly cramped for two people and there was only one chair... More

Dear Travellers, I stayed in wonderful B & B for more than a month. I was on a business trip to Exeter. The place was fabulous to stay at. The landlady was nice and warm. She provided good breakfast. The room service was really great. The bed was cozy. She even did my laundry for free because i was staying... More

We stayed here for one night and found the accommodation in an ideal spot close to the city centre. The purpose for our stay was a work xmas do. The room itself was furnished to a very high standard and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was superb. I would recommend Sunnymede to anyone wanting to stay... More

As a tourist area, there is quite a lot of choice when it comes to budget accomodation in exeter. As fan of the tripadvisor site, i had consulted it for the majority of places i was considering. Sunnymede seemed to have one of most positive selection of reviews, even though they were few and far between so i booked about... More
