The proximity to M5 means you can hear the cars (especially as you can't close the window hoping to get some fresh air in) so beware light sleepers. Also no lift so if having heavy luggage or simply having problems walking, make sure to get a room on the ground floor. And then there's my personal experience: Had a last... More

Popped into when visiting family in the area. Just need a hotel that can provide a good night's sleep and a comfortable clean room. This fitted perfectly with that requirement and enabled us to enjoy the whole stay

Accommodation was an ideal overnight stop & cost effective. Ideally situated 5 mins from M5 junction.Quiet & comfortable. Unfortunately one week later I received a parking fine of £100 from CP as I had parked for more than 2 hours (unfortunately I need more than 2 hours sleep )Make sure you register your car when booking in at reception.

Fabulous 2 night stay here, room very clean and staff friendly and more than happy to help with anything required. Was pleased to discover a Bar and Grill restaurant in the same building! Not advertised on the travelodge website but should be as it was a great addition! Massive and very tasty breakfasts, evening meals and a bar all at... More

If arriving by car for an event in Exeter or for a rugby game at the Chiefs then its perfect and also great that is has a bar/restaurant next to it/part of it. Two mild criticisms, yet again having to pay for Wi-Fi is ridiculous and yet again the free Wi-Fi counted down the thirty minutes even if you logged... More

Visited this Travelodge while working in the area nearby. The room was very clean and in a quiet part of the hotel and the bed was very comfy. Staff were very welcoming on arrival and departure and the nearby pub was good
