We stayed here for four nights at the end of March. We found the location very good for visiting Devon with Dartmoor and the coast about half hour away, the hotel is only about a mile from the M5 services so has good access to most of that part of Devon. The staff where friendly and helpful in the main...

First impressions of building were disappointing however once through the door we were greeted with possibly the friendliest receptionist ( Sophie) ever, bubbly and vivacious, very welcoming with a sense of humour . The room we have is old but clean and nice enough , would defiantly stay here again , it's cheap and central . The carvery next door...

As a place for a quick stopover on the way to Cornwall, I would say this was just ok. The room was comfortable enough, but the building was old and the room was not very clean. It needed a good scrub and some maintenance. The staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast was fine. There was wifi available but we...

We had a fabulous deal @£57 for bed and full English breakfast. Lodge is ata he'd to a Toby Carvery so we had an excellent roast dinner when we arrived. Up early for breakfast. It was fabulous. Really huge selection of continental breakfast if you wanted that but the full English was absolutely great. They even have Yorkshire Puddings and...

The hotel is very easy to get to from the M5 with plenty of parking. The rooms seem to have been recently improved and I could not fault mine at all. Everything was clean with enough power points to work if I needed to but the only problem was the Wifi was hopeless and I could not get a decent...

I found this hotel very pleasant. The rooms were very nice and beds comfortable. The best feature being the USB ports beside the bed! There was ample parking when I arrived and it was really good to be able to have a drink in the pub adjacent. The breakfast was good, being part of a Toby Carvery meant that the...

Stayed here whilst on a one night visit and nothing to complain about. The included breakfast was great, the room was just what was expected and had everything that we needed. The walls are a little thin and we could hear a loud snoring guest but for the price and cleanliness of the place you really cant complain. Would return...

I booked this as a overnight stay for hubby and I on a working weekend away - reading some of the reviews I was slightly nervous. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Lovely friendly welcome - room was slightly tight for space but that was because of the massive bed which Id rather have than room to dance. Room was...
