Do Not go here if you are eating over the lunch hour. Despite being the only convenient pub for some distance and accessible to many large offices, the service is so slow. Meals arrive at the end of the hour, and you have to take them back to work in a doggy bag. Speed up people!! I even rang when...

Beautiful pub from the outside with a gorgeous old bar and friendly staff. My only criticism would be that the restaurant is not really in keeping with the rest of the building & lacked character. The food was gorgeous though and beautifully presented

Went here for lunch a few times over the past weeks and I could not fault it. A range of real ales, kept well and excellent food. There is something for everyone, because their is the traditional part of the pub and a more modern part. Great atmosphere, helpful, approachable staff and a good experience. I shall be attending again!

Arrived to meet family, got drinks at bar, told which table and went to sit down. Chairs weighed a tonne to pull out! Got menu's, very shortened version of what you see online! We had all looked online to see what we would like to order to make things easy and quick. Not so, some of us did not find...

When booking this on booking.com I didn't know what to expect. When I arrived it was lovely. Big spacious room. Comfy bed. I love what the have done with the place. The pub next door the food that they serve is delicious. I stayed here as I had to catch a flight to Crete from Exeter in the early hours...

The food is good if a little on the expensive side however the accommodation is another matter. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on, lumpy, hard and able to feel every spring. No curtains only blinds so light from 4am. Grout in shower dirty, cobwebs every where. It was noisy with traffic only feet away and...

We booked via booking.com for the night of the 25th May, we had an early flight to make from Exeter to the Blue Ball seem a perfect choice and worth the £59.95 to get to the airport refreshed. It would have been better to have a meal at home save £50 and drive to exeter in the early hours and...

We rented a twin room (only four rooms for rent) which was very clean and tidy. It had an ensuite bathroom which was very clean. Towels and bath products were provided. Plenty of parking available for free. It was located on a quiet country lane outside of Exeter. Walking into the pub was very strange, it seemed abit like they...

On arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff member who showed us to our room which was nicely appointed but looking tired and in need of paint. There were large cobwebs in the rafters and the floor was grubby. The room had a double and a single bed and had nice pine furniture. The bathroom had a shower which...
