Our first visit so we did as it said on the board as we entered, found a table noted the table number and ordered drinks and food at the bar The welcome was warm and inviting and the service by the young team fine, we chose shared starters and both were of good size and quality, mains were huge and...

I went here with my wife, her sister & brother in law. Trebarwith is a beautiful secluded cove with great beach at low tide. We enjoyed great Cornish ales and whole grain baguettes with cheesy chips served on the terrace watching the sea. The St Austel Tribute & Proper Job Ales were great. The food was excellent even though simple...

What a lovely location. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our food was good, the presentation was very nice, (although my partner prefers his dinner in a plate, rather than wood). A must for a sundowner and the view is stunning. A full menu and a good wine list. Prices are comparable with the rest of the area. We were...

Visited here yesterday for lunch. Fantastic location, very friendly and helpful staff but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. £20 for a sirloin which was so tough even the steak knife struggled to get through it. Both of us had the steak and left half of it on the plate because it was unedible. Some limp rocket on the side...

I reluctantly recommend this pub. Reluctantly because as a 'local' I would prefer that it remained exclusively mine to enjoy!! Fabulous views of the amazing natural Rock formations running into the sea. Very friendly staff, small but well formed menu. Have tried most dishes between us. All good. A must visit if in the area but don't drive beyond the...

The Port William Inn is a hidden gem in north Cornwall. It’s situated in Trebarwith Strand, about 2-1/2 miles south of Tintagel. Finding it was a challenge, since my GPS did not seem to understand my instructions, and it’s at the end of a series of very narrow “B” roads that mostly only accommodate one car a time. But once...

I have to say I have a soft spot for this Inn as my wife and I stayed there as a young couple about 40 years ago now. This time we walked along the cliffs from Tintagel for an evening meal with friends. Now in the St Austell Brewery chain it serves very good locally sourced food. Only one thing...

What a lovely place. Perfect location and views complimented with perfect customer service and wonderful food. I only wish we knew of The Port William before we spent the weekend in another hotel. I will be booking a night here for sure. We only ate here but it was enough to make us want to visit and stay over night....

Stayed with elderly parents. Both rooms were very comfortable and Room 8 was particularly spacious with a four poster bed but only partial sea view. The Port William is in an outstanding position - overlooking the cove with the close proximity of the sea being the attraction for residents. If you're looking for a gentle walk along the beach this...
