A great pub that caters for the masses that visit this beautiful port with seating available inside and out to view the beautiful scenery the port offers along with the surrounding slate cliff faces - A varied menu offering freshly caught fish with all the regular favourites along with some unusual dishes that will suit all palettes - good selection...

This is a great place to stay because it's an ideal location, but the staff make it wonderful. Everyone working there is friendly and cheerful. The lady that served us breakfast was amazing (blond lady that loves chimps). The only drawback is the restaurant evening meal wasn't great, and very expensive.

Hi twellens and thanks for your review. Sophie is a great asset to the pub and her knowledge of the chimp world is incredible! I'm glad she made your stay with us even better. I hope you can visit again soon. Regards, Mike. GM

We have been regular visitors to The Port William loving the location. Our last visit, however was very disappointing. The food was average at best and very expensive for what it was. The house wine at 23 pounds was also very expensive. This isn't a top rate restaurant, but a pub and the prices need to reflect this.

I live locally to the Port William and we regularly visit for lunch, however we have really noticed a change in the quality and quantity of the food now that the holiday season has began - very disappointing! We had a roast dinner this Sunday, unlike the last one there were much less potatoes and vegetables although the meat was...

We ate here twice during our stay in Cornwall & the food & views out to sea were lovely. Our new favourite North Cornwall spot! The pub & beach are both dog friendly too so highly recommend. The muscles & the seafood platters are amazing!!!!!

Thanks Jess008 for your review. We are very dog friendly and we are lucky that we have an 'all-year' dog beach. The platters are definitely going down well and I hope you can return soon to try out the rest of the menu. Regards, Mike. GM

Our family of 8 visited this Inn on the last day of our holiday and wished we're gone there from the start. The location was superb, the food the best we'd had all week and the service impeccable. Everyone of our party was impressed by the overall ambience and service. Good value food with excellent portions and well kept beer....

We had a one night stay prior to an event nearby. The recently refurbished room was to a very high standard and very comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were good and as we were fortunate with the weather it was a most enjoyable brief visit. All staff were friendly and welcoming on a very busy Sunday afternoon. Did not stay this time but will in the future. However I used the restaurant more than once and enjoyed a really well cooked pub meal every time from a comprehensive menu.
