An average experience when went for a lunchtime meal. Not helped by waiting 15 minutes for a recycling van to move before I could enter pub car park, only then to be told by staff that parking was for residents only. You can turn around and drop people off, but if you are with someone who cannot walk far or...

We had been looking for a lovely place for Sunday lunch which had a sea view, which in North Cornwall you would have thought an easy thing to find. But it was proving difficult to say the least. So in the end we just decided to eat just up the road from Port Isaac where we were staying. So we...

I love this hotel. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the view is unbeatable. The only criticism I have is that I wish they would update their menu a little. The food is good, but I wish there was a more well rounded selection. I will always stay here when I come to this area. The staff was very friendly...

For nearly 20 years It's become a tradition to head for Trebarwith Strand summer and winter. The winter break is special as it's quiet, you know you will need warm clothes, waterproofs and wellies but you can walk, eat and drink and wind down in the most beautiful north Cornish coast. The port William has the best location, roaring fires,...

Stayed close by and we frequented this place a lot during the week, must say the views from here are pretty spectacular and if you manage to get a nice day to sit outside you probably couldn't get much better. The food was fine....average pub grub....wouldn't recommend if your looking for something special tho! Staff are pleasant and helpful.... and...

Stayed for 2 nights over a weekend in a group of 9. Good food and good variety. Lovely rooms, loved listening to the sea while lying in bed. Great breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble.

The place had changed and not for the better. No ambience at all. Staff were lovely but the place was like a glorified café. My pet hate is condiments in a holder on the table. Sticky and old! The food struggled to be average. When I asked for some horseradish it came in a tiny little pot with a skin...

Thank Trason67 for your review and I'm really sorry such a great night was spoilt at the end. The car park is operated by an external company and unfortunately they do issue tickets. I hope this doesn't put you off coming back to the Port William and hope to see you again soon. Regards Mike General Manager

We stopped here for lunch as it's a firm favourite with us whenever we're in Cornwall, which is not often enough for my liking! As always, every member of staff we spoke to was friendly, helpful and polite and we simply cannot fault them. The food was delicious and was served in good time, despite it being a busy Sunday...

Great pub nice food and a great welcome by friendly staff! I recently stayed here as I was working locally and was very happy I did so as the views were amazing ! Although the pub itself was great, the experience I had with the parking was not so great. In order to visit this pub you need to park...
