Its an inn so be prepared for a large TV and sports in the bar. Outside there is a garden with kids stuff in but obviously only good for good weather. The accommodation is not in the Inn but attached in a sort of apartment block. You have to go outside to get into the Inn and order food. Just... More

We're walking our way round the coast, and this was a perfect location to include a trip to the local castle and church. The walks along the coast - stunning but take care if you've got a young family. Very warm welcome, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Room was pleasant, nice and warm. Wifi was good,... I picked this hotel (which includes a full English Breakfast) on the internet and yes it's new and no it's not perfect, but it was cleaned, nicely located---the staff took care of me like I was family and the owner was in and out and made for some interesting talks... It is not fancy and it's fairly new and so... More

After Arriving at Atlantic Cottage, we went down to Tintagel which we have been to before and parked in the central car park which is quite reasonable, we noticed the Cornishman Inn. After looking at the shops in a cold wind we went back to our accommodation and decided to phone up the Cornishman Inn after looking at the Reviews... More

On arriving there was no sign of our on line booking and the assistant had failed to look. Luckily the very helpful Theresa found us a room. The outside was covered in glasses and bottles with dirty ashtrays and this is how it stayed until the next morning. The rooms were clean and tidy. The towels were a bit tatty... More

The accomodation at The Cornishman Inn is not flash but it provided everything we needed. It is located minutes walk from the spectacular coastline that we had come to see. We visited out the of peak season so things were quiet and were given a good sized room with a west facing window that had warmed our room up nicely... More

Really quiet when we arrived on Thursday about 8, only three or four other people. One side has a really modern bar & the other is old style with beams. Prices are a little high. Food selection looked good.

This visit to Cornwall was an alternative to our usual Caravan Touring holiday format. Our usual site had closed down early in the season this year so we needed to find reasonably priced accommodation for five nights to be able to visit friends and family. We had no expectations but were prepared to make the best of what ever we... More

Average. Small room, the heat was not working properly, we could hear our nieghbours in their rooms, out of date toiletries. The room was clean, close to centre, breakfast included, good food, not very expensive.
