We went for a long weekend in October, St Mawes is lovely and the location of the hotel is great. Overall we enjoyed it and the hotel is very relaxing and welcoming. I am not sure if it is good value though, at well in excess of £300 per night (B&B) it is definitely at the luxury end of the...

Our second visit to the Tresanton and it was every bit as good as the first. The staff are first-rate: friendly, helpful and professional. The restaurant and bar are both excellent, and almost everything that comes out of the kitchen is very good indeed. The rooms are smart and comfortable. The large sitting room on the ground floor has charm,...

We're here at Hotel Tresanton in Cornwall playing wall to wall bridge with Paul Mendelson our superb bridge teacher. We come every year for the week. This Olga Polizzi hotel is very stylish and the food and service are simply fantastic. Luxury rooms with a panoramic view of the view of the sea. Very beautiful.

Hotel Tresanton was the chosen location for our Wedding evening drinks and dinner, as we were only a small party of 9. We also stayed the night in Room 6. Where do I start.... because it was all so amazing! Firstly, although we did not actually get married at the Tresanton the wedding co-ordinator Leila could not have been any...

Called in on Friday afternoon for tea whilst awaiting to check in to our holiday home. The welcome at reception was cool to say the least and after being directed to the lounge we waited some 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Tea and coffee were okay but we didn't return for tea the next day finding the...

Went on a celebration break for one night for husband's birthday on recommendation by friends. Stunning location. The staff were very discreet and the service was excellent. The hotel is very comfortable and the attention to detail in the service was impeccable. We had a sea view room on the top floor which gave us fantastic views out to sea...

The staff are remarkable: they are utterly professional, incredibly friendly, genuine, and they will do anything so that your stay is as perfect as it can...

We were amazed that this beautiful hotel would let us in with our dogs but they welcomed us with open arms We sat on the top terrace and had a cream tea. The service is outstanding and all the little details you expect from a 5 star hotel. They even bring blankets to keep you warm if your outside The...

We came here 10 years ago and have been a couple of times since and it has never disappointed. It is difficult to put your finger on why we love it but it is a combination of many things. The rooms are beautifully and comfortably furnished and the beds are the most comfortable that i have slept on. The bathrooms...

So far only experienced cream tea on the deck at Tresanton but what a perfect place. Lovely views, warm scones, Cornish cream and preserve dusted lightly with icing sugar. My Labrador Coco specially enjoyed a bar just for him - The Dogs' Bar!!!!!!! on the ground floor. Attentive staff and stunning décor.
