A lovely B&B within walking distance of both Carbis Bay beach and St Ives. Rooms weren't massive but perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean. Nice bathroom with supplied toiletries and decent towels. Pete and Heidi were charming and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had rooms at the back which had a sea view and were lovely and quiet.... More

Stayed for one night while attending a wedding. Very welcoming, let us check in and get ready for the wedding early on the Saturday which was a great help. Helped with directions and cannot fault anything. Fantastic breakfast. Would recommend.

We stayed at Chy an Gwedhen at the beginning of September and had a very relaxed and happy holiday here, being just a short car drive away from all the other lovely cornish attractions such as the Minack Theatre, Porthcurno, St Michael's Mount, Lands End and Mousehole, to name but a few. This is a very nice B&B. We chose Chy an Gwedhen because of its location and the fact that if has car parking. Its conveniently situated on the main road between St Ives and Hayle, and has easy access to the SW Coastal Path. Our room was a decent size, and overlooked Carbis Bay. The facilities in the room had... More

We stayed at Chy an Gwedhen for one night. The proprietors, Heidi and Pete were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room had a wonderful view across Carbis Bay. The property is about a 30 minute (downhill) walk into St Ives, via the Coastal footpath, with some wonderful views along the way. We ate at the Firehouse in the town and... More

Amazing stay at this lovely B&B. Pete and Heidi are the most welcoming hosts, definitely a home from home feel. Room was spotlessly clean with a perfect sea view. Breakfast menu has great choice and was cooked to perfection every morning. Thanks Pete and Heidi for a great stay. We will definitely be back.
