Great site, good location and lovely walk along coastal footpath back to site from St Ives. Stayed several times now and facilities are always clean, warm and no queues! Facilities at the hotel are available to 'campers'/motorhomes/caravans etc but there is a garage for using the rather small pool. Would recommend the fantastic Penzance Leisure Centre with fabulous pool and...

A fabulous time was had by everyone at our birthday bash/reunion in October Half Term! I honestly can not fault the Ayr Holiday Park and the adjacent Garrack Hotel who provided excellent accommodation, food and first class staff throughout our 3 day stay. Our accommodation, in a spotless and well-equipped static caravan, was excellent - although I had opted for...

A lovely touring and static park set at the top of a hill overlooking St Ives. Good views from almost all pitches. We stayed for a week in our motorhome, facilities are scrupulously clean and staff very helpful. The walk into town takes about 10 minutes but beware the walk back is quite steep - not for the faint hearted!!...

Thank you for reviewing your stay at Ayr. Being on a hill is what gives us the view and on the way back to the Park just take it steady!! I hope you will visit us again before too long.

This is a repeat visit and yet again didn't disappoint! The caravan was clean, light and airy with a fantastic view over Porthmeor Beach to the right side and out to sea from the left side. The added comfort of central heating was a plus especially at this time of year. The campsite is a very well maintained, clean and...

Thank you for your review of Ayr Holiday Park. It is good to know you were pleased with your caravan and will be returning in the future. Regarding the shop issue, we have one small shop 200 metres from the park entrance and a larger one 400 metres in the other direction. They both stock a wider range of goods...

Had a week at Ayr in July in our touring caravan with our 6 year old daughter. One of the biggest pluses for me was that you can walk into St Ives down the road or the coastal path in around 20 mins so we barely used the car...which I like after a 300 mile journey. The first beach you...

The view alone is worth 5 stars but the campsite is equally as good. Clean, tidy and in easy reach of the town centre. Shower blocks etc are great, a bonus of a lovely hot shower everyday guaranteed. You won't be disappointed here

Thank you for your kind words; I have been enjoying the view today as it is a clear autumn day with plenty of sunshine. I hope you will return before too long.

Our first experience of a static caravan in many years was a complete revelation! We stayed a week in the category C caravan, the 2-bedroom Abi Harewood. It was large, light and airy, spotlessly clean and modern, and had pretty much everything we needed (including a bath - and also a dishwasher, contrary to the website listing). With gorgeous sea...

We camped here for 3 nights in June and had a lovely big pitch overlooking the sea, the Island and Porth Meor. I think most of the camping pitches would have a good view. Shower and toilet facilities were fantastic, and there's a games room with pool table, vending machine, games etc for a rainy afternoon. It was largely dry...

Recommended by a friend and so glad she told us about this site. Great proximity and walking distance into St Ives ( a hill coming back but you can get a bus or taxi). Views over the bay are fab. Toilet/shower block is ideal and spotless. Will defo come back.

The caravan was quite nice but we found because we never got a lot of sun that the towels never dried and our clothes always felt damp in the bedroom because of the coldness. It was further than 1/2 mile as stated with some very steep hills so only for the fit.

Thank you for your review of your stay at Ayr. Whilst I can take no responsibility for lack of sunshine, I don't understand why you did not turn on the central heating to warm the caravan and ensure your towels dried. If you had any difficulty with this, the staff would have been happy to show you how. According to...
