We stopped here for 1 night on my birthday trip to the Cornwall region. The hotel is a bit shabby and needs some diy and re decor. The location is good and the breakfast is sufficient. Nothing outstanding but a good option if on a budget

And horrible smell. The beds were very old and he cupboard was full of dust and stained carpets!! The hallways and entrance radiators were on... More

Overpriced, dirty, no service, noisy, breakfast server on filthy tables... and I could go on and on. Seriously do not get fooled by the description on booking.com or on their site! It is a dump, a very pricy dump!

If you are at the front of the hotel views are great. Unfortunately we had a view of the bins! On arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff and one young gentleman helped us upstairs with our bags. Room 6 was "cosy" - very comfortable bed. Hotel more for holidaymakers than business people as nowhere in room to do... More

The lady called Kat, signed us in on the front desk, she was helpful and welcoming. once we dropped our bags in room we went straight down to the bar (after a long journey) we needed a drink and some food. we sat... I think this hotel has some nerve charging as much as it does for a room for one night. The whole place was tired and in need of decoration. We found food from previous day's meals all over the tablecloths in the dining room at breakfast. It was hard to choose where to sit, we chose a place where there... More

Me and my partner travelled 8 hours through the night, we needed to get our heads down for a few hours. It was roughly 8am, they offered us a free breakfast on arrival, and got our room sorted promptly. This was very appreciated. Staff couldn't had been more helpful. Got given a sea view room, beautiful. Very clean and spacious.... More

We had visited this hotel years ago when it was a top class seafood restaurant, everything beautifully presented and of the highest quality. Maybe we should have realised that the subtle name change would signify a change of ownership but we were in blissful ignorance until we checked in. Our "seaview" was in fact a street view, but you could... More

We were very impressed with the Suite that we were given. The view was great and It was very clean. We stayed for 4 nights, Friday to Tuesday. We had our own front door which was great. There was a set of narrow steep stairs to get to the suite which is not suitable for everyone. The walls are very... More

Only thing missing from this hotel is John cleese. In arrival on booking in one of our party had booked a room with a sea view, she was told that the room hadn't got a sea view when she stated that she had paid extra for this the receptionist went to look at the room and came back and said...
