Nice small personally supervised place with great views. Huge and delicious breakfasts. Conveniently close to The Bean Inn for great food in the evening. Easy walk to St Ives or take the train. We will return.

Stayed for 3 nights from the 16/08/13. From the incredibly warm welcome from Fenella to the beautifully appointed room and scrummy breakfast I really could not find fault with any aspect of Headland House. It is clear that Mark and Fenella are passionate about what they do and every detail of this small but perfectly formed hotel is exquisite. We...

Spent 5 nights at this wonderful hotel. The attention to detail is just brilliant - the breakfast, the honesty bar, the afternoon cake, the overall décor, the room (Porthminster), it's all been thought through so well. The view over the bay is fabulous. 3 minute walk to the train station for the train to St Ives, or a 30 walk...

Spent another three nights at this super hotel. Received a lovely welcome from Mark and Fenella and stayed in Porthcurno with a fantastic view of Carbis Bay and St Ives beyond. Excellent breakfasts and delicicious afternoon cake. Fenella prepared a "to go" breakfast on my last morning because I wanted to leave early. Yet again, highly recommend this delightful hotel...

Just returned from a fortnight in Cornwall and spent 2 nights at this fabulous small hotel. Mark and Fenella have created a warm, inviting and thoroughly top class establishment in Headland House. Everything was superb, from the room to the best breakfast we had during the 2 weeks! The afternoon cake was also very welcome. The house is well situated...

The serivce was excellent over all. The refreshments at the house bar were very welcomed and comfortable. The rooms are very beautiful, nice view to sea and lovely garden in front...

Just returned from 3 nights at Headland House and will definitely be back one day. Short break started off a bit miserable with the weather but it brightened up and the weather was glorious in the end - did not want to leave. Mark and Fenella are great hosts, Mark giving tips whenever you go out for the day and...

July 31 & 1 Aug 2013. Stayed for 2 nights & didn't want to leave! Fenella & Mark were perfect hosts, advising the best restaurants & ice cream parlours -although beware of marauding seagulls on the beach- I had mine whisked away by a seagull in full flight!! The room was lovely with large en-suite & roll top bath- the...

We stayed here in late July during the UK heatwave. It was a great location for Carbis Bay, just a few minutes away. St Ives isn't far either, and you can get the train in (they're every hour). Usually you don't have to pay either because there's no machine at Carbis Bay and the inspector on board will issue you...

This was our 3rd visit in a year, and this time we stayed in the Porthcurno room on the 2nd floor for 3 nights. Amazing views, and I think my favourite of the 3 we have stayed in. We were lucky with the weather (stayed the 2nd week in June) and we ventured onto the beautiful Carbis Bay beach. There...
