The Anchorage is a fantastic B&B within the heart of St Ives. This beautiful B&B is literally a minutes walk to the harbour, the restaurants and the shops and is situated on a beautiful cobbled street; perfect :-) The Owner (the fantastic Chris) was superb and could not be more welcoming. Upon arrival to the harbour Chris greeted us and...

You will not find a better b and b than this. It is a lovely old building in a cobbled street right in the heart of St Ives. Our room was spotlessly clean and the shower was excellent -just what was needed after a hard day's walking. Breakfast was first class. I would not stay anywhere else if returning to...

We stayed here for a couple of nights over the May bank holiday weekend. What a little gem. Our room at the top was immaculately clean, very comfortable with mugs, biscuits (my favourite Viennese fingers) and wine glasses and a view over the rooftops to the harbour. Chris was a charming host, very attentive and on both mornings we enjoyed...

Visiting family in Cornwall we decided to treat ourselves to a night in St Ives. We were upset that we hadn't arranged to stay longer. We stayed in room 2 which was spacious with a cosy charm and immaculately clean. The privacy afforded by a door leading directly onto the cobbled street was an added bonus. Chris was extremely helpful,...

This is the third time my partner and I have stayed here. Property location is the best you could want just seconds from the harbour! A charming 17th century fisherman's cottage with loads of character, tastefully furnished with access to a varied DVD library as all rooms have TV and DVD, a good idea if you fancy an early night...

My husband and I recently vacationed for a few days in St. Ives. We had never been there before and arrived without hotel reservations. We wanted to stay in the old town so that we could walk to the restaurants and shops and while perusing the streets found The Anchorage. Our host was a delightful fellow who wanted to make...

We'be stayed at this B&B four times now and the quality, cleanliness and service has NEVER wavered from.excellent. We always request the basement room - no sea view but spacious, cosy, private and tastefully decorated with the advantage of a bath. You can't park outside this B&B but that is the flipside of the great location - in the heart...

We stayed at The Anchorage for a short honeymoon. We were greeted by Chris the owner who couldn't have been more helpful if he tried. The whole place was clean, comfortable, in an excellent location and the room was far better than we expected from a B&B! We will certainly be going back there soon and have already distributed Chris's...

We could not really fault the Anchorage. A great location, with east access to all that St Ives has to offer. The room was clean, quite well equipped and was decorated in to a tasteful standard. Breakfast was fine, with plenty to choose from. Service was excellent and we would highly recommend The Anchorage.

This B&B is located within a one minute walk from the harbour and many good restaurants and shops. It's also only 10 minutes walk from the train station. Very central. The house is also very comfortable and clean and had the character befitting a house built in 1730. The owner, Chris, was extremely helpful and welcoming.
