A charming little place with rooms very much in keeping with the area and town. Really well positioned with regards to the shops bars and restaurants. The breakfast was great with a full Cornish or just a light bowl of cereal. Reasonably priced considering the time of year and position. All the rooms were smart and clean but my one... More

This is ideally located just a few steps from the town and harbour. We paid £80 for a double room on the top floor, with views of the harbour and en suite with a shower. The room was equipped with the essentials you might expect, complimentary tea/coffee tray and shampoo and shower gel. If you're expectations are high, then this... More

We had an extremely disappointing stay at the Grey Mullet while walking the South West Coast Path. The building is in an ideal location; a stone's throw from St Ives Harbour, but that's about where the positives end. Upon arrival at the property at 3pm (the ETA we'd provided months in advance), we rang the buzzer for a few minutes... More

Stayed at the Grey Mullet a couple of years ago. Its in an ideal place, nearly on the quayside, a very very short walk to the beach. Close to several nice restaurants. Its a quirky B&B so don't expect 5 star, or you will be unhappy. Sumptuous Breakfasts and nice and clean, BUT GREAT VALUE. Having holidayed for years with... More

Don't be put off by the few poor reviews. This is a lovely traditional B&B in a fantastic central position. The staff are very friendly and helpful and cook a lovely breakfast! We booked the sea view double for the bank holiday weekend and couldn't have been happier with the Grey Mullet. The TV didn't work when we arrived but... More

We stayed in the Cottage this week. It is a stone throw away from the harbour, and the bedroom had a lovely harbour view. It is situated near many good restaurants and the main high streets, and has easy access to all the beaches, especially Porthmeor. The staff are very friendly and helpful, I have stayed in the B&B and... More

Love this little B&B. Think we've stayed here about seven times in total! Quaint, quirky and so St Ives. Right in the centre, you won't find a more convenient place to stay. The hotel now has wifi and if you're lucky, a parking space! The staff are extremely friendly and will go all out to help if they can. Small,... More

My grandaughter and I stayed here early in July. We were booked into the adjoining cottage which gave us plenty of space. I was pampered and had the pretty bedroom while my grandaughter slept downstairs. The breakfast, served in the attractive dining room was very good. Well prepared and plenty of choice. We were fortunate to be allocated a reserved... More

Stayed here with my girlfriend last night. Was out in St.ives for the night due to her graduation from university (big up) but enough about that. Everything was spot on. Perfect place for a couple spending a weekend away. Central St.ives so everything is in walking distance. Room was spotless & everything we needed was catered for. breakfast was served... More

Lovely Quaint Cottage, outside flowers are stunning, breakfasts were great and cooked to order, staff look after your needs very well. No problem with Parking, using their permit in the nearby car park. Ensuite is small but servicable, bed and pillows very firm, could do with a fan in warm weather as window doesn't open much...everywhere is lovely and clean... Biggest... More
