Cohort does everything it says on the can! Plus clean, friendly and welcolming. Location is great, everything within 5 min walk. The cost is that it can be a bit noisy on the street so ear plugs a good idea. Pack light as space is adequate rather than massive. We were fine for three days surfing, just had to be...

That is a really good tip about training for the surf lessons, we've seen guests unable to lift their morning coffee the next day :-). Really glad you enjoyed your stay at Cohort and we will definitely look into a few larger pots and pans for the kitchen, always good to get feedback. Hope to see you again sometime. All...

This hostel is friendly, hospitable, clean, modern and has everything to meet your needs. Price is cheap but this does not reflect the standard of the rooms. Great place to meet new people whilst also allowing a bit of privacy. I will return!

So we paid £150 for one night here for the six of us which in peak season is St Ives is A M A Z I N G. The rooms are functional but comfy with plenty of height on the lower bunk bed. The staff are friendly and great communal spaces. Would stay again...but bring ear plugs as noise of...

My 2 friends and I stayed at Cohort for 2 nights last week & were very happy with our stay. The hostel is ideally located in middle of St Ives. We shared a room with two other lovely ladies, & we had bunk beds. The bed was cosy & comfortable, the room was clean & bright. The Aussie lady on...

Stayed here with a group of friends in the dorm room, which has 8 bunk beds. Amazing value, cool little bar/chill out area, hot showers and 2 min walk from town. Intelligent little touches like having a USB plug in your bunk, curtain and under-bed storage. Manages to do cool & classy without the fuss and extortionate price tag. Highly...

Stayed here with 6 of my mates (we paid for an 8 bed dorm room to have it to ourselves). Perfect for a visit to St Ives - incredible price, really contemporary and chilled vibe. Loved the lounge / chill out area with small bar. The beds were really comfortable and everywhere was clean and tidy. Highly recommend.

The hostel is in a great location with parking less than 5mins walk - the hostel staff gave clear directions to it. Our room was clean, but very small and warm. We had the window open and was noisy from the road (as expected) - but beware if your a light sleeper. Wifi was good in the room. Would stay...

Very grateful to have this hostel here as St Ives is so expensive and this place has enabled us to stay in the town. Clean. Being refurbished still. Excellent members kitchen. Good loos and showers. Friendly staff. The only downside was our room was very claustrophobic as it had no window and only a small vent into the corridor.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review and we're sorry you found your (private) room to be claustrophobic, the private rooms are internal so it's difficult to get natural light in there. We really believe in making St Ives an accessible resort so very pleased that you found a budget option that suited.

I scanned the net for a hostel for a stay at St Ives, Cornwall, UK and to my surprise found just one and that was the Cohort Hostel. For a set up which does not have any competition the place was brilliant. Of course the location is not exotic enough to be overlooking the sea but every exotic location in...
