The pictures online do not do this hotel justice!! Amazingly we were upgraded at no extra cost to the suite, best room in the house. Tastefully decorated, luxurious, fantastic views out to the beach, just a lovely lovely room. Very spoilt. Had planned to use the swimming pool although ran out of time, but did pop down and it looked...

A lovely hotel for a weekend away. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food - dinner and breakfast was fantastic. The room we had was a good size. The swimming pool and sauna with cafe/bar were an added bonus. The hotel is in easy walking distance of St Ives but not too close. It definitely wasn't cold!

Enjoyed our 4 nights here, some luxury touches with superb bed and linen, lovely super-large soft towels, large comfortable room well supplied with bottled water, biscuits etc, unbeatable view over the sea . . . somewhat scarred by mobile home park immediately below. We were looking forward to a swim and sauna . . should not have bothered, and here...

Not sure why some people are saying it was cold. It was the opposite for us, although the weather has been very changeable recently. Comfortable double room and a really great view of the sea, perfect! We had a swim, sauna and jacuzzi, which is all included in through price with the room. What was also nice was having water...

This hotel has been refurbished over the past few years to quite a high standard, however I had a weekend stay in February during a very cold spell. The central heating was not efficient therefore bedroom was quite chilly. The dining room was freezing cold and also the conservatory. Staff were trying their best to help by bringing in electric...

Excellent service, got upgraded to a sea view room with a huge bathroom and beautiful outlook over Porthmeor beach, which was ideal as I was there to hit the surf and could see the waves from my room. Spent a lot of time in the pool, found it a bit cold but the hot sauna warmed me up, again staff...

Booked here as we could take our dogs. The room was a seaview, very large and spotless. Well equipped with complimentary bottle of mead and lovely biscuits. The hotel needs some maintenance in several areas and the grounds could do with a tidy up. The staff were lovely, very helpful and obliging. Our evening meal was ok, nothing special. A...

For a short winter break this hotel was perfect for us. The room was comfortable though the access was not quite so good down steps and a path that was both slippery and not terrible well lit-the main reason for a slightly reduced rating overall. We ate in the restaurant for both evenings and the food was excellent with an...

My wife and I had an excellent stay, all the staff were very helpful and were all happy in their work. We had a sea view, the room was lovely and the bed was really comfortable. In the morning we had a lovely swim in their heated pool and then into the sauna before going onto breakfast. I would definitely...

Enjoyed a lovely meal here recently for my birthday. Lovely food in lovely surroundings, well worth a visit. The hotel has some pet friendly rooms, we didn't stay in one but were allowed to have our dog with us while we had dinner. Had coffee in front of a roaring log fire sat in big comfy chairs, very relaxed end...
