I stayed 3 nights at Halwell Lodge and found it a lovely place to be based for exploring this corner of Cornwall. I stayed in their deluxe double on the ground floor with a lovely view of the garden. The room was finished to a high standard, with beautiful textiles and lots of nice little design touches, the bed linen...

Sadly we could only stay one night at this delightful B&B.. Having parked up we took the "park and ride" short train ride into St. Ives. A lovely 10 min journey along the estuary - beautiful. Debbie and Peter are wonderful hosts - they couldn't do enough to help - and we how to stay with them again one day.,

A lovely, friendly place to stay & very good rooms. Nothing is too much trouble and the breakfasts are fabulous. A genuine warm welcome. Getting into St Ives is so easy on the nearby coastal train (just 10 minutes and only £2) I'd stay here again.

The owners could not have been more welcoming and helpful. My ground floor room had a lovely view of the garden and breakfast was delicious. It was conveniently...
