Popped in here for Sunday lunch and it was one of the best we've ever had. The meat was so tender and there was plenty of it. Lovely selection of vegetables. Dog friendly to with a bowl of water and biscuits for the dog

Lovely place, near the bay, very clean and simple. Good bed and shower. Delicious breakfest and an amazing staff. At night, the pub have good options to drink and good food also. It's an amazing place to stay in St. Ives.

Stayed for two nights wed-fri, booked a superior double via booking.com and got a nice big double, room 3. Good little sofa to relax on as well after walking round the coastal path for a few hours in the day. Shower good pressure and quick up to temp. I left my bag here when I arrived around 11 am, you...

The room are ok size, not too big and not too small but clean and tidy. Lack of long hours parking nearby is a bit of a problem, but otherwise location is good to access shops, beach and marketplace. The food was fine.

Overall a good hotel. It's a town hotel with a thriving bar downstairs so you should expect some noise, although the double glazing helps to reduce this. Also there's no car park, so you'll need to park in a local pay and display, we paid £7/24hrs at the train station which is about 10 minutes away. But the rest is...

We chanced upon the Queens when wandering aimlessly around St Ives looking for a place to stay the night. We weren't disappointed. Queens is a lovely traditional-style Cornish pub with simple but perfectly adequate lodgings offering a sumptuous breakfast and in a great location. Very reasonably priced too. No complaints whatsoever.

The hotel has a very cosy bar area with good beer and excellent food - both our dinner and breakfast were of a very high standard, normally only found in much more expensive hotels. Our superior room was smart, clean and comfortable with all the usual features and a very smart, clean bathroom. All the staff were friendly and welcoming....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Queen's Hotel is a late-Georgian, three-story building in the heart of picturesque St Ives. 5 mins from the harbour and beaches, we have ten en-suite bedrooms, which have been redecorated with vintage furniture and Cornish artwork hanging on the freshly painted white walls, plus sparkling new bathrooms with new showers. Downstairs is a relaxed and friendly bar with delicious pub food that was awarded an AA rosette in 2011. Everything is prepared on the premises - the menu is chalked up on the board daily using the finest local, seasonal ingredients Cornwall has to offer. Bread baked daily. Homemade ice-cream. Local beers. Warming fire. Children are very welcome: upstairs a camp bed and a travel cot are available to borrow, all windows have black-out blinds; downstairs there are boardgames + toys in the light and airy bar, baby-changing, and children's portions available. The harbour front and Fore Street are under five minutes walk away. Selected by Alastair Sawdays. ... more   less
