Lovely roast beef Sunday lunch. Large portions with fresh veg, £12 each. Booked a bIg table for 7. Although we didn't take ours lots of families with dogs. Staff very friendly. Choice of only two roasts on a Sunday.

Lovely place, great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food, I had goats cheese salad, a few of the party had burgers which went down well, my Daughter had a child's portion of the stew. Good portions, none of us could manage desert. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Comfy bed and spacious bathroom. However, if you don't like stairs then this place is not for you! There is no hotel parking which is a major drawback as the parking lots are often full, really expensive and located about a 15 minute walk up an extremely steep hill. Checking in proved difficult as it is tricky to stop out...

Staff were brilliant and very helpful , rooms were very comfortable and airey and immaculately clean . The position of the hotel is central to everywhere you need to be . The only downside is parking, had to go to the station to park and is quite expensive ,food in the hotel is excellent , would stay here again .

Food here was fantastic and the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff made our visit even better. There is an obvious respect for food and caters for all tastes. I recommend the mussells. We are often holidaying in Cornwall and the next time we are in St.Ives we will make a point of coming back!

Having visited as a couple before we visited for lunch as a large family group. As we were 8 Adults, 2 Children & 3 Dogs we found a large vacant table in the bar only to be told after I'd spent £100 that we could not take in the pushchairs!! I asked for 2 high chairs only to be told...

Cosy pub room.Clean.Gastropub menu. Pleasant staff , fairly busy.Dived in for something to eat as we were late and original plans went awry. Served quickly and efficiently. OK for value, not earthshattering ..just a safe bet.

Centrally located fairly near the harbour, this pleasant, traditional pub has several rooms upstairs which have recently been renovated. They are simply but tastefully decorated with soft white bed linen and a large comfy bed ( Room 1) plus en suite bathroom. Guests need to be aware that live music takes place in the bar at times downstairs and those...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Queen's Hotel is a late-Georgian, three-story building in the heart of picturesque St Ives. 5 mins from the harbour and beaches, we have ten en-suite bedrooms, which have been redecorated with vintage furniture and Cornish artwork hanging on the freshly painted white walls, plus sparkling new bathrooms with new showers. Downstairs is a relaxed and friendly bar with delicious pub food that was awarded an AA rosette in 2011. Everything is prepared on the premises - the menu is chalked up on the board daily using the finest local, seasonal ingredients Cornwall has to offer. Bread baked daily. Homemade ice-cream. Local beers. Warming fire. Children are very welcome: upstairs a camp bed and a travel cot are available to borrow, all windows have black-out blinds; downstairs there are boardgames + toys in the light and airy bar, baby-changing, and children's portions available. The harbour front and Fore Street are under five minutes walk away. Selected by Alastair Sawdays. ... more   less
