Steyed here with work, needed to be centrally located in St Ives. Very inviting and cosy. Nicely decorated rooms, with everything you need. Not on the seafront so don't expect sea views! Breakfast offer is great - home made granola, fruit, cooked breakfast. Lunch and dinner on offer in the pub really good too - had really delicious crab.

This place is easy to find bug not easy to ark. Great inviting pub/hotel that accommodates all ages. There's a good range of affordable meals but the real Ales are a little expensive. Friendly staff and great decor. Will return.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here back in September although it is not the hotels fault the parking was a nightmare, after a long drive down we quickly stopped the car outside to ask someone inside where we could park or where the cheapest car park is. We had to drive up a massive hill and pay £12.00 for the...

Lovely bar area, nicely decorated, comfortable and good for all ages and families alike, we called in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised, the food is modern well presented and service was good, we returned the next day for Sunday lunch, it was excellent, on a Sunday it was very busy so we would advise booking.

My room situated on the top floor was lovely with a view over the roof tops and the sea. The room was very clean and had all the amenities needed. Very generous and tasty breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When I arrived I was hours too early to get into my room but I could leave my suitcase...

I was very impressed with my very first contact at this Hotel when the guy who checked us in walked down the road to our car to help with the heavy suitcases and then carried them upstairs to our room. The room itself was fairly basic but very adequate and I was pleased it was quiet, despite being located in...

We only stayed for one night but felt it was overpriced for what you get. First you are above a pub, which was fine, it wasn't noisy. The room we stayed in was very small! My husband struggled to get under the shower! He is only 6ft not stupidly tall. You could just about get around the double bed and...

Lovely place, great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food, I had goats cheese salad, a few of the party had burgers which went down well, my Daughter had a child's portion of the stew. Good portions, none of us could manage desert. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Comfy bed and spacious bathroom. However, if you don't like stairs then this place is not for you! There is no hotel parking which is a major drawback as the parking lots are often full, really expensive and located about a 15 minute walk up an extremely steep hill. Checking in proved difficult as it is tricky to stop out...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Queen's Hotel is a late-Georgian, three-story building in the heart of picturesque St Ives. 5 mins from the harbour and beaches, we have ten en-suite bedrooms, which have been redecorated with vintage furniture and Cornish artwork hanging on the freshly painted white walls, plus sparkling new bathrooms with new showers. Downstairs is a relaxed and friendly bar with delicious pub food that was awarded an AA rosette in 2011. Everything is prepared on the premises - the menu is chalked up on the board daily using the finest local, seasonal ingredients Cornwall has to offer. Bread baked daily. Homemade ice-cream. Local beers. Warming fire. Children are very welcome: upstairs a camp bed and a travel cot are available to borrow, all windows have black-out blinds; downstairs there are boardgames + toys in the light and airy bar, baby-changing, and children's portions available. The harbour front and Fore Street are under five minutes walk away. Selected by Alastair Sawdays. ... more   less
