We went to Looe festival but chose Trenderway to stay at, to escape the madness of this festival at times. It was so lovely and perfect. Only 10 minutes taxi drive to Looe. The cottage is absolutely lovely, felt completely at home.
We have just spent an overnight stay here enroute home, to break up the journey. We wish we were staying much longer though! This is a lovely B n B retreat not far from the main road; a little lane leads to this quiet spot....More
A very clean and comfy place to stay. Stayed in Willow room, the most comfiest bed ever. Breakfast excellent and staff accommodating, very efficiently run. Tucked away but so peaceful. Good position for visiting all round this lovely part of Cornwall.
We had the Bridal Cottage, very nice and clean. The owner is more than friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good, a really pleasant stay and if we come again to that region, we will for sure

Great room (Acorn Loft), lovely people and animals (especially the cat and dogs - very friendly). Excellent breakfast and best bacon we have had in years. Wish we could have stayed longer. (We will be going back)

Couchs is indeed a great restaurant and we are lucky that Richard, the Chef Proprietor, is our House Chef for weddings and events. The restaurant is only open Monday to Friday for summer 2015 and reservation is advised.
In addition to Couchs we also recommend
The Blue Peter in Polperro for great pub food with a good atmosphere
The Salutation in Looe, another down to earth pub with a welcoming atmosphere and great grub.
The Old Sail Loft restaurant in Looe, as well as Papa Nino's and Squid Ink.
In Polperro too, the Kitchen and Nelsons are highly recommended.
