The team at the hotel were polite, friendly and professional. We had upgraded to a superior room, which did not disappoint. Lovely view from our windows. The walk in shower was perfect for our needs and the toiletries supplied were of a high standard. We both like having the use of our own coffee machine. The hotel, rooms and restaurant were spotless....

We booked a room here last minute and thought we had a pretty good deal. Although the bed was comfy we did not get much sleep. We constantly had to listen to the restaurant music, the TV from the neighbours and non stop door banging. When we point it all out during our check out the response we got was;...

We were expecting a very luxurious stay and in almost every aspect the hotel achieves this. The rooms have great beds and nice furniture but the general decor could be better maintained. The only dissapointment, although not a major issue for us, was that we could clearly hear the guests in the adjoining room.

I rarely stay in anything other than large chain 4 star and above hotels. As none of these exist in the area I reluctantly booked an independent which worked well geographically. My low expectations were made even worse by some of the reviews on here. I arrived to be met by a friendly and helpful receptionist who showed me up...

We enjoyed a relaxing week in this hotel. From the warm welcome and introductory tour to the assistance at departure the staff were unfailingly friendly, helpful and efficient e.g. a faulty light bulb was replaced very promptly. The breakfast choice was very good in all aspects; the dinner menu was short but full of variety, and we ate two memorable...

This Edwardian hotel, converted from two houses, is welcoming and professional. We enjoyed a mid-afternoon snack in the sun on their balcony overlooking the small pool, reading the paper and drinking complimentary tea in their two sitting rooms, and two dinners enhanced by herbal and floral additions.
