Only had a drink here so cannot comment on the food. On returning our empty glasses to the bar, which I should have left on the table, I said thank you to the big Irish barman. He just looked at me up and down with not a thank you for your custom in sight. Bar area like a school room,...

Definately very good value for money, the food was so fresh, plentiful and piping hot. The staff were all very helpful and the restaurant was spotlessly clean and very cosy indeed. I will definately return and would thoroughly recommend eating here although I had to tell the waitress we were ready to order. Location was great for coastal visits and...

A lovely friendly pub in a small village near Newlyn and Mousehole. Gin aficionados look no further. At the last count there were 100 different gins on offer. Served in the proper way in large bowl stem glasses with fever Tree Tonic. A limited pub grub menu but with a daily special board. Bed and Breakfast available as well but...

Booked a table for 6.30pm on a saturday evening. We were advised it would be a half hour wait for food to arrive as they were busy. It did take about 30 minutes, but the meals were lovely. Very good value for money and good service. Cheerful landlord who came and asked us if everything was ok.

After a very long wait we were brought our food. I had a 'trio of locally caught fresh fish'. I was a little surprised at salmon being one but ok maybe, the smoked fish was bitter and whatever the other one was did not taste fresh and had a horrible dry top layer on it. No one enjoyed their meal...

We did not stay here but walked up from Mousehole for dinner on a Saturday evening. On entering the pub it looked nice, around one third full at best, no problem finding a table to sit after getting drinks at the bar. The girl serving us was charming and polite, I ordred a main course and my wife was not...

Stayed for three nights with my boyfriend. Clean airy rooms, ridiculously comfortable beds, and great food and drink in the pub. I'm also vegan, which they were more than happy to cater for, giving me options of types of milk for breakfast along with veggie sausages. Would thoroughly recommend, will definitely be back!

We live close to Paul, and have often visited the Kings. The pub has recently been refurbished, with new managers and a new menu. The feature selection of gins ( many! ) has been extended, and the new decor is really lovely. The new managers have introduced some theme nights and tonight was curry night, although the usual menu was...
