From an easy online booking, to an email confirmation and a professional follow up call and then arrival, the customer service I received was excellent. For the three nights I stayed, the en suite room was clean and the breakfasts were first class with real coffee (cafeteria), fruit and great cooked choices including kippers. Highly recommended. The only minor issue...

Everything works in this b and b. The breakfast is amazing and it is value for money. The couple who run it love their work and this really comes across. Would stay here again. Penzance however can be a little dull end of season. Had a great Thai meal in the town but even in low season you need to...

Although the room was tight, and the private washroom was across the hall, all amenities in our opinion was excellent. Bus and rail stations directly across the street. Excellent breakfast, wifi included.

Carnson House is a Cornish B & B. It doesn’t pretend to be the Dorchester or the Waldorf or the Hyatt Regency. Consequently I’m astonished that some TripAdvisor contributors feign offended surprise when, in paying B & B prices, they are not provided with the finest bone china crockery at breakfast or go to sleep on Egyptian Linen bed sheets...

We stopped overnight on our way to the Scilly Isles and booked this b+b because of its location next to Penzance station. On the plus side, the price was reasonable and the room was clean. However, the overall experience was marred by an appalling breakfast, poor mattresses and the multitude of warning signs in the room stating that all damages...

The signs in the rooms are a deterrent as we have saniflow systems and you can not put baby wipes down them as they get blocked easily, until we put the notice there we had loads of problems. The notice for damages must be paid for works for us. There are sufficient power points in the rooms that you do...

A nice traditional B and B stayed here prior to setting off on lands end to John Ogroats Cycle Ride. If you are looking for a 4 star hotel this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a friendly B and B this is certainly for you.

I stayed here in June 2016 and was met by the owners who were pleasant and attentive to my needs after a long drive. The room had everything I needed for a short stay and was very clean. I don't understand the negative comments on the ensuite facilities - the bathroom is small but in perfect working order - people...

Carnson House is very handy for the train station. It is only a couple of minutes away from it. This is because it on the main road running through the town. Our bedroom looked out onto the main road and the side wall of the station. In fairness we hardly heard noise from the road and noise from the pub...

WI FI is fine maybe it needed re-booting and it does say on the information sign if you have any problems we are pleased to help. The signs are there as a deterrent not warning signs we have not experienced problem guests at all. Thank you

The Carnson House is a small B&B very near the Penzance Train Station but not in a noisy location. The owners are delightful but not overbearing, the rooms are clean and have all the amenities you should need, the breakfast was great, and the location is 2nd to none for access to the train and bus stations in Penzance. Stayed 2 night's on a trip to Scilly Isles. Have to complement the owners on breakfast, hospitality, and especially how lovely and warm the hotel rooms were for the month of March. There is nothing worse than staying somewhere your cold. This bed and breakfast was extremely comfortable. Hope other guests enjoy their stay.
