Good location but unfortunately that is where the positives end. The interior is in clear need of attention, peeling wallpaper and damp on the walls. Rooms are very draughty. Light didn't work in the toilet and the shower was a mere dribble. The place smells of cigarette smoke. Breakfast was cold and not even cooked through. Overall unsatisfactory and could...

From the moment that I first set foot in the hotel I was greeted with warmth, courtesy and friendliness. The view from from my room was breathtaking, enjoying views across the bay and St Michaels mount, stunning location and to my surprise free parking along the seafront. Although ample parking in the hotel car park. I have been at the...

After a very warm welcome we were shown to our room which looked great and had wonderful sea views. There were some minor problems with it but they were more than made up by the friendliness of the staff. The evening meal was wonderful

When I first saw my room at The Lugger Hotel I was pleased. It looked spacious, light and clean. It didn't take me long to notice the problems. The television didn't work. I told the manager and he said he'd see to it. However, he didn't do anything and my first night was without TV or radio. The second day...

I travelled to Penzance on business as I do 1/2 days a month. I was booked into this hotel last minute by my client. Upon arrival @ 19.45 I waited 10 minutes for anyone to tend to me. When the member of staff took me to my room I climbed a number of flights of stairs through dark dated corridors...

We booked at the last minute and were offered a sea-view room for just £85. Given the location and a lovely bay window to sit in it was good value. The following main points seem relevant if you are thinking about staying: +tive: Once you can find a space, parking on the sea front by the hotel seems completely unrestricted...

Oh dear what a waste. It could be an absolute fantastic hotel, however it's not at this moment. Thread bear carpet, not sure what to say about the decor. The bedding and towels were extremely clean plus point. Everything else is a shambles. I paid extra for a sea view which was good overlooking the bay. £98 for bed and...

I booked the hotel with trepidation having read previous reviews but was relieved to find that the room was excellent. It seemed to be newly decorated with a large comfortable double bed and and spotless walls. There was an ample wardrobe in one corner as well as a reasonable HD flatscreen tv in the other (N.B.
