Fifth vist to St Bernard's with my husband, as we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this year, couldn't think of better place to be for it. Faultless from arrival to leaving.....would never think f going to any other bed and breakfast in Newquay.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Louise is one of the loveliest b&b owners we have ever met! Nothing was too much for her. She helped us to buy some tickets for the rugby match in bristol and gave us advices were we can go to eat or what to do in Newquay. She...

What a great place, what great hosts, so as many other reviewers have said that already I will write from a slightly different angle. Breakfast, what a choice. Fruit juice and half a grapefruit. Loads of cereals and porridge. The obligatory Full English, then any combination of it either as a sandwich or on toast. Scrambled eggs and salmon too....

I have stayed here several times over the years as a single traveller and it gets better every time as Louise and John develop new ideas for the benefit of their guests. They are a lovely, welcoming family and they provide much more than a typical guest house. Where else can you have breakfast in bed if you choose or...

At last! I've found my place to stay in Newquay. In past years I've tried bigger hotels up on the Pentire headland or chain hotels which lack soul and feel anonymous. Louise could give all hoteliers a lesson in hospitality. Just the right approach. Friendly polite and helpful without being intrusive. The room I had I'd expected to be small...

Excellent location for Newquay, people very friendly. Very clean, and comfy bedrooms, breakfast was amazing and if they didn't have something they would get you it. Within walking distance of shops, bars restaurant and beaches. Would not hesitate to book it again

Nothing much to add to this year's visit. The standards are as impeccable as ever. The breakfast menus has even increased and smoked salmon is now a regular addition. Spotless and nothing is too much trouble for John and Louise who run this B&B. There really is no need to look elsewhere in Newquay.
