What a beautiful cottage! I've never been one to state perfection, however, this is not far away from it! Sue and Jim offer a superb B&B! The room was large and warm, with a nice en-suite. The bed is very comfortable and facilities good. Strong Internet connection and breakfast was gorgeous, consisting of fresh fruit, toast, preserves, and a well...

We stayed for two nights, but could easily have stayed for much longer. Small and intimate, but very well appointed, fresh and super clean in an authentic old world cottage of your dreams. Jim welcomed us with tea and delicious cake in the lovely garden. Sue served a particularly good breakfast. We walked down to the coast for sunset.

Myrtle Cottage was a real stroke of luck for us. Sue, the owner, was very friendly and charming and a perfect host. Her hints and recommendations proved very helpful. The breakfast made a delicate and tasty start of the day. This cottage is like we imagined a cottage should be: small, neat and tidy.

As soon as you arrive you are made to feel at home. Tea in the garden and friendly, unobtrusive chat with Sue, the owner. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully decorated, relaxing and spotless. Breakfast was a mixture of beautifully home steamed apples with cinnamon, yogurt and berries.. But the choice of a freshly cooked breakfast and toast was also...

The warmth of the welcome and the care taken to make us comfortable was outstanding. Tea and scones in the charming garden on arrival, home made biscuits in the well appointed bedroom and a nice bathroom. All this and a quiet location made for a delightful stay.

Sue and Jim bent over backwards to meet our every need. Our room was comfortable and cared for throughout our 4 days. The food was quality English fare prepared and presented with obvious love and attention to detail. The quiet location is in an ideal position to visit the oustanding beaches, the coastal path and numerous inland places of interest....
